A proper 540is is a relatively rare car specced deliberately by bmwnz to emulate a e34 m5, that's a little bit special in my book

Dont forget the original e 34 535is was optioned exactly the same way via bmwnz

The roads are done in layers,sewerage,stormwater,water,power,telephone,thats why there is multiple works,the top layets cant be done until the layer below is done

If it has been looked after the engine itself is mot yhe issue they are made to be rebuilt,or swapped.its the (auto) gearbox that I reckon is the thong. To be worried about,and the rest of the car

Phil,i cant imagine what the folk in canterbury are feeling,and am not trying to defend anyone,but this was TWO huge events,and nobody has dealt with anything like it before.we are a small country and at times it has been beyond our resources.there just arent the number of suitably experienced engineers for example to carry out the inspections,builders etc.Just sayin
