If you ever want to split up those "6 X M Double spoke “sunflower” (style 22) two with 888 Toyos – four with road rubber including 2 new Nankangs. " I would be keen.

For those are wanting my set, i'll only sell them once I have an original set. I also will have a M50 E34 Sump and a few other random bits that will help with any conversion.

I am on the lookout for an original set of S50B32 headers. I have a set that have been modified to fit in a E30 with a S50B32 but because of my reshell project into a different chassis they will no longer fit.

would be strange for random posts to be lost during any migration as its just a big table on the database. There are posts dating back to 2003 so I would assume its all ok.

What would an E36 318ti M52B28 manual be worth?

splines are the same, but its a race car so no WOF to worry about.

you can use the E30 one without the spacer in the middle. That's what I have on mine.

Tonight I'll be changing the IP address of bimmersport to the following: IPv4 - 103.48.118.240 IPv6 - 2001:df2:3400:3::::240 The magic of DNS should take care of everything during the night. This should be the last change for ages Also depending on time, ill setup the old IP as a proxy to the new address to avoid any downtime. Edit - All Done.

Bimmersport Downtime tonight from 9PM till late
Jamez replied to Jamez's topic in General Discussion
We'll that didn't take long. Time for sleep. BGP issues, upstream route issues, firmware issues.....you name it, it just happened in the last 24 hours. -
I will be making major changes to the network that Bimmersport is hosted on tonight. In a perfect world the outage should be 5min, but given nothings perfect it may be an hour or two from 9PM.

Its a new rad so I don't think thats the issue.

On a hot day it's creeping over 100c when pushing it (+6000rpm), the oil just sits at 125c and doesn't move. Since the oil cooler sits infront of the radiator I suspect the oil cooler it heating the water in the rad more than the cooling system can handle. I am thinking of replacing the current oil cooler with somthing like this mounted at the bottom - http://store.bimmerworld.com/bimmerworldcr-racing-e36-oil-cooler-p1662.aspx - my thoughts being I gain all the cooling space of where the the current oil cooler is fitted and I am also putting 20c through that part of the radiator rather than 120c.

did some reasearch, boiled it to 100 degrees, didn't open until ~85c, 95% open at open until 90c, then it went a little bit more at 95c. It's opening the full way.

I am having some strange cooling issues on the S50B32, does anyone know how far the S50B32 thermostat should open, here is a pic with wear marks showing how much mine is opening.

Sent a PM but haven't heard a reply

I am in need of at least 1 E30 325i Half shaft, if not two - These are the beefy ones with the weld in the middle.

ok, I spent a bit of time on it tonight and most stuff should be working now, the two main wins: User counter Gallery If anything else isn't working, please let me know in this thread.
-
There were issues the other night, I have just moved it again now and it seems to be working. Its a bit of a hack in the way that it is working as its jumping through a few box's in terms of traffic routing, that should be sorted soon.

race series, bimmersport, 2kcup and a few others.

I will be moving this site and a few others to my server based at Hampton Downs tonight, probably around 9pm. Expect downtime etc etc until tomorrow morning. From tomorrow, Bimmersport and a few other sites I manage will be the only ones hosted at a race track, possibly world wide. Initially the site will be hosted on regular spinning disks, but if it runs like a sack of sh*t I will put it on solid state storage.

It's due to a combination of factors: The motor is making peak compression for its type - This is thanks to new OEM BMW parts and a proper running in procedure. The injectors have been serviced - Flow patterns were off on two The motor has a 3" straight through exhaust. - No cat's, only a cheap muffler on the rear. The motor has a straight 80mm drain pipe as an intake - No restriction and always gets good cold air. The ECU has been refined to find the sweet spot at every 500rpm, it used to be tuned in 1000rpm brackets. I would be interested to see how the motor would do with aftermarket cams and a carbon airbox.

Just to bump this thread. A lot has gone on, I had to rebuild the motor again (two pistons cracked) and this time did it myself, suffice to say its running a lot better now, compression tests are up to around the 210psi mark, up from 180-190 that the last build got. Big thanks to M3AN on the forum for letting me rent your timing tools, I will replace the pin I bent after this weekend is over Now making some really good power at the wheels, 310rwhp to be exact, it's also making over 300rwhp from 6000-7500rpm which is primo. There are heaps of pics on the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bmw303 and I put little updates a lot of the time. We are racing this weekend in the 6 hour enduro, live feed will be live.hamptondowns.com - I will be having a live in car feed as well.
