Came accross this, was wondering if someone could take it for a test drive for me: http://www.turners.co.nz/Damaged-Vehicles/Search/BMW/3-Series/11284379 Has heaps of stance:

Using INPA in ODB mode worked fine for me, told me that rear sensors were picking up pulse fails at 50km/h, turns out I didn't have any ABS rings on my 325i half shafts
-
Car sounds awesome, you should bring it to my private twilight at Hampton on the 15th Dec if you want some cheap track time.

What is wrong with this world, we have a group 5 replica project thread with 3 pages, then a myriad of threads with 10+ pages where people just talk about doing wheels and springs. Keep up the good sh*t Richard!

Thanks Glenn, i'll head over at lunch.

It looks to be 26mm wide with a 1mm thread.
-
I need to cap off where the expansion tank level switch bolts on to my expansion tank. Does anyone know the thread size or have one I cantake off their hands? Part number of part that fits is 61318360458, also think the E30 one will fit as well - 61311378320 or I could just use a brass plumbers fitting if I knew the size. This is what normally fits the hole:
-
Yeah, from what I can tell the washer needs to be 2.25mm thick for abs to work.
-
WTB: E30 325i ABS Half Shafts I have two that don't have the ABS splines, need two with ABS splines to get my ABS working in the E36 compact.
-
Fitted the exhaust, might be a bit loud.

So filled the cooler, lines, where the lines bolt on and poured oil down the filter area. Took 20 seconds before any pressure, then climbed over the next 20 seconds to 30psi. Happy
-
the bolt is welded to the shaft and sprocket. Guess ill drop the sump this weekend and remove the pump and get it checked.
-
No. Its like its doing jack sh*t.
-
So I cranked my S50B32 for ~10 seconds and it doesn't have oil pressure, it also isn't pumping any oil through the lines which is probably why I don't see pressure as the sensor goes off the same lines. This is a freshly built motor and I was cranking with no sprakplugs so was nicely free-spinning at a reasonable RPM. Are they some how susceptible to air blocks if the lines have been primed? Before it was rebuilt it had a lot of bearing metal go through the block but the block was cleaned out by a reputable engine shop. Is it only the oil pump that could cause 0 oil pressure?

Went to pickapart and got an e36 motorsport one for $16 Below is a picture of: 1. 318ti Standard sway bar - 25 mm 2. 318ti Motorsport sway bar - 26 mm 3. E36 Motorsport sway bar - 25.5 mm 4. M3 Motorsport sway bar - 23 mm I now see the E36 and M3 ones have a bigger hoop in order to make room for the 6 cylinder.
-
Ill give you a call tomorrow Ray
-
Does it have a bigger loop in the middle compared with the compact sway bars? If so Ill go grab one from pickapart
-
Anyone got a E36 Compact Motorsport interior for sale?
-
I am after a aftermarket front sway bar that is set to mount off the control arms for my 316ti E36. I have a E36ti Motorsport one, but that hits the sump I have a E36ti Standard one, but that hits the sump I have a E36 M3 one, but that doesn't mount to the control arms, it does however clear the sump. From what I can tell, the aftermarket ones have a bigger loop in the middle so they are universal fit for all E36's.
