I posted a question about coming and having a look because I want a lot of misc parts but got no answer. Any chance I could come have a chat?

Engine built and installed with the 6 speed box. Now need to do the wiring and fuel system. Also waiting on the driveshaft to be shortened. Maybe 2 weeks away from driving under its own power and not to far away from doing a test day. Seems really weird that this car should be quicker than the e30 as it looks standard as. Going by the corner speeds I was doing with the 1.6, a high 1:10 around Hampton Downs is on the cards with the 3.2L

Whats your budget?

A friend at a machine shop is going to sort it out for me. Will probably end up cleaning the thread, putting a new nut on and then spot welding it in place.
-
So I was torquing up the nut on my S50b32 oil pump that holds the cog in place and just before I was done, the nut has threaded itself in place. I have backed off the nut but it seems to be stuck in place. I am guessing I just need a machine shop or similar to remove the nut, clean the thread and install a wider left hand thread nut to make use of the remaining good thread. Then for peace of mind do two tack welds to the cog so the bastard wont work itself loose. Where can I take it to get fixed?

E30 import either an M3 / 327is / 325is / 318is or Mtech

Time for a thread close, the owner has obviously done their homework and is happy with his purchase as a result. Start a project thread if you're keen to show and track the progress of change. -
Looks like cabrio springs to me, does the same thing.

3.91, it was hitting the limit of 221km/h at Hampton in 5th when all the gear was in the e30, never used to be a problem until I rebuilt the motor and got a more flat power curve. During the reshell the option was to either put a taller diff in or go 6 speed. I chose 6 speed in order to keep the gearing close, even did a fancy spreadsheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JomWx1T9e1GLv4BQrFc0F50lWsIzDf1PR95ZBQ0AXoc/edit?usp=sharing

S50B32 (310rwhp) and 6 speed. Drive shaft hoops are the only thing I have yet to sort out then I should be able to fly through the cert process as the car is using nearly all factory parts.
-
Here I was thinking I would be the only one rocking a fast compact. What did you have to do in terms of drive shaft hoops to get a cert?
-
I realise the demand for this will be pretty low, but I need the space in the garage so am open to offers of less than what I am asking.

I have removed the M43B16 + GM Automatic from the compact to make way for the M3 gear. Has 160km on it and runs perfectly. I drove down to Hampton Downs and then back to Auckland and it ran as expected. I also took it around the track to make sure the suspension is working as it should, the motor was a trooper and the shifts were smooth. I have the motor, loom, auto gearbox, ECU, driveshaft and radiator (looks mint). Does $500 sound fair? Want it all gone asap.

William Shakespeare (/ˈʃeɪkspɪər/;[1] 26 April 1564 (baptised) – 23 April 1616)[nb 1] was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in theEnglish language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist.[2] He is often called England's national poet, and the "Bard of Avon".[3][nb 2] His extant works, includingcollaborations, consist of approximately 38 plays,[nb 3]154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and a few other verses, some of uncertain authorship. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.[4] Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Sometime between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part-owner of a playing company called theLord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men. He appears to have retired to Stratford around 1613, at age 49, where he died three years later. Few records of Shakespeare's private life survive, which has stimulated considerable speculation about such matters as his physical appearance, sexuality, and religious beliefs, and whether the works attributed to him were written by others.[5] Shakespeare produced most of his known work between 1589 and 1613.[6][nb 4] His early plays were primarily comedies and histories, and these are regarded as some of the best work ever produced in these genres. He then wrote mainly tragedies until about 1608, including Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth, considered some of the finest works in the English language.[2] In his last phase, he wrote tragicomedies, also known as romances, and collaborated with other playwrights. Many of his plays were published in editions of varying quality and accuracy during his lifetime. In 1623, John Heminges and Henry Condell, two friends and fellow actors of Shakespeare, published the First Folio, a posthumous collected edition of his dramatic works that included all but two of the plays now recognised as Shakespeare's.[7] It was prefaced with a poem by Ben Jonson, in which Shakespeare is hailed, presciently, as "not of an age, but for all time".[7] In the 20th and 21st centuries, his works have been repeatedly adapted and rediscovered by new movements in scholarship and performance. His plays remain highly popular, and are constantly studied, performed, and reinterpreted in diverse cultural and political contexts throughout the world.

Got two dogs, not a problem , they bark at any strangers that even look at the property, then crazy neighbor calls noise control and they are on site within 15 min. Meanwhile she yells at my dogs and chucks rocks and canned food over the fence which makes even more noise and commotion. Best security system ever and I don't even pay for the addons so am getting really good value from my rates bill. I know it's been said already so I will give my experience. I reported it once when someone tried to break into my house (unlucky for them April works so for a lock company so every entrance has double security locks) and ended up marking the window frame with a flat head, community cop thanked me for the details and tied it to a case against two youths that were targeting the area, both known to the cops. If no one reported anything there wouldn't have been a case at all.

Just what I need as I will be painting it anyway, ill see what I can organize.

WTB E36 Motorsport Front Lip. Anyone got a second hand one for sale before I look to buy new? Same as this: http://www.schmiedmann.com/en/product/258-new?product=51-11-2-251-767

The 1.6L auto is managing to get into the 1:32's with ease at Hampton, brakes could be optional as it gets to 120km/h going into the final corner, drops to 110km/h and then rises to 120km/h on exit, then only to reachs 139km/h by the end of a 600 meter straight. Can't wait to see what it does with the m3 motor and manual gearbox as its 10km/h quicker around the corners (even with road tires) than what the e30 was doing.

When selling the 850i I would regularly get over 70 watchers but not one would contact. Then again, I am guilty for putting things on the watchlist only to see what it goes for.

E36 M3 Wheels Fitted, looks as good as a Ti can. Only the motor and gearbox left to fit which will be happening towards the end of the month. The E30 will be listed on trademe tonight as I no longer have any use for it.

Looks so slow, probably because its handles so well and the camera angles don't help either.
