Hi John, You may need to do what I did when enquirying about e90 BTCC wide body panels. Phone keith down at JC parts division. They have access to the motor sport catalogue but he would have to make some proper enquiries. I have a feeling the panels are only availble if you purchase an actual BMW suppoted motorsport z4. I would look to germany for the panels as if there are going to be any good aftermarket bits then there would be the place to start, not the US. Also another thought would be actually contacting the racing teams direct who run z4 motorsports. Im sure they can point you in the right direction or may even be able to help. we have found this with locating DTM parts for the e30 m3 turbo project. I would say unless you are looking at getting a true m5 engine, power to weight in a z4 would better benefit using the s54. here is a site on show to get an s54 going on a non m-specific vehicle with the standard DME. (may have some useful tips) http://e46.mit.edu/BMW_OEM_E46_M3_Engine_Transplant.htm cheers Josh

Will post a photo when I get home of our m50b25 5series sump on the s50 (what you will need to do) bolts straight onto the bottom end, you need to get a new oil pickup / pump as the sump oil "well" is positioned the other way around to clear the e30 cross-member.

Some people are born with n00b disease, the funny thing is they will spend more money having to replace these rubbish tyres in 1 years time than having a full 2-3 years. next time, ask him ... why did you bother buying an m3 ? he should of just grabbed a e46 318i.

im getting one of these personally

They will be suffering from the same problem mine does sometimes. It takes a good 30mins for hard driving for my car to come back up from "around town" fuel maps to "bawls out" fuel maps. common problem with learning ECUs

all I will say is do it properly, m50b25

nice 318i welcome

possiblity a bad batch was posted to the US ? it happens ... done two very very hard drives recently and mines still fine I'm really not a fan of half the exhausts on the market for the e46's. They are most of them are far too loud and just wont pass a warrent in New Zealand. They also turn the BMW 6 into a skyline sound... which I hate. Its fine in some states in the US where they have relaxed exhaust laws. For me the supersprint sound and lack of drone really suits my needs for the road. Which those links are all problems with their race X pipes. And as said in those links, its a bad batch and things have improved. While a grea resource, I wouldnt go rushing out treating everything your read off the internet as gosple, specially from the US. from someone who actually owns one. my 2 cent.

welds on mine seem fine ... but im not an m3... I can't speak for these

sucks ... had this happen in broad daylight to the e46 .. stole my radar detector.

They wont be the right offset but are fine. if its rubbing under compression without the wheel turned then most likely yes you will need to roll your guards. Any resonible panel shop can do it properly. Or hire a guard roller even PM McLovin on the forums here .. think he had one. when sticking bigger wheels / differnet offset than the cars designed for yes you will expect guard rub.

I too was socked and saddened to hear this yesterday! You only have to look at the photos of him to see what type of guy he was, big smile and made sure he had a hell of a lot of fun doing what ever he was doing. Deepest condolences to Duncan, Bronnie and the kids + family ! RIP big fella! We will all keep on rockin in your honor.

you dont need to lower it to make it 'look' low ... the 330 isn't much lower than stock. just looks that way in time ... nice set of 18's with the right offset. looks awesome btw.

most road & track combo setups are around 400 / 550 split pound spring rate. e30 is running around 525 / 725 pound ... its not bouncey at all .. it has koni yellow race shocks with ground control height adjustment.

$2600 bimmersport member cost, but I also bought wheels ... was quoted 3k which I would guess normally some where between those two.
