Remember its not the same instant feeling as turbo power, the s50 has it strength in the mid range. ITs more like 'real' hp. if you were to line it up against a turbo car of the same HP you would win. (generally speaking) As others have suggested, go see Gavin and Hi Velocity. Hes one of the only people in the BMW tuning business that has the equipment to test your real HP. He can plug it in and see exactly whats going on. Its not too expensive to do so either.

can't wait for that tyre law and the exhuast law to come in personally....

These renderings are always just guess work. BMW is known for its step in the "other" direction for other to follow in. Its probably fairly close but would say they will ramp up the design. Also, body panels and "kitting" of the car is one of the last things car companies do. I wouldnt read too much into it.

Where can I get coilovers or drift spec suspension??
hybrid replied to kish's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Another is KW suspension. German based company .. more on the higher side cost wise tho. -
Hey ya fella, would be keen to check out your bluetooth install if your in AKL ? I have completed the full nav and steering retrofit upgrade with 16x9 vs NZ maps and also doing the TV conversion (just have to buy the retrofit loom for TV (got TV module) )

your looking (if you can find it second hand) about 5 - 6k for seats and trim for an e46 otherwise just retrim ... retro vehicle enchancements in greylynn = 2500 - 3000k depending on the leather your want. 2500k option is still better then stock BMW leather .. so you can loose.

This 'remix' (if you can call it that ... is the first one we have done in over 4 years. We write orignial songs these days as its a ) hard to find artists in NZ we want to work with b ) no real gain for us. We are aiming for summer 09 for the album release. Its going to be a hard second half of this year getting it done!

With the e30 (not just the m3) I feel they are one of the greatest cars are because... If you look at any other car still around on NZ roads in numerious numbers from the early 80's what is it. the e30. I will say that the e30 isn't the fastest nor best looking (in standard form) however it certainly is more fun then anything else from that era. I own a e30 m325i and a e46 330i as many of you know. I really fun the e30 far more fun to drive. However I would say the e46 is more fun at the limits for share speed and handling but we dont drive like this every day now do we

I've been running slight stretch for sometime now. And I will never go back to flat side walls on a road tyre. The car handles about 10 times better with higher tyre pressure and mild (10degree) stretch. Ofcorse you should use tires that are built to be stretched a little. Older designed tires dont have this and are more likely to have beeding issues.

hmmmm.... I might look again at it in a couple of years time when the premium is knocked off them. Its quite funny at the moment... You can land an e60 m5 for 120k with options! .. thats around 100k off the sticker price! .. I would cry if I bought one new and I lost that much in 2 years.

Im wondering if they had it all pre modled off the 335 and just mad a few quick changes as soon as it came out in CAD for the bumpers. That front bumper is really nice. maybe a bit on the extreme side for some people but it rock it.

Doug has (M3_Cab on here), I think his words were similar. omfg, its f**k'n amazing.

have a look on e46fanatics.com .. under the showroom on the forums to get the jist of what I'm saying. This will show you different styles on different e46's pretty quickly. 99% of the guys on there run 19 inch. edit: Sorry I missed the fact you have a 318. non staggered might be the go for you as zenetti said as you wont have the power in cornering to make use of the extra rubber. just a side note, my 19 inch wheel are still the same diameter in total as my OEM 17 inch wheels with 60% tires. I still use one as a spare wheel as its the same size
