*coughs* soundforge 8 for recording single waves Ableton 6 or Cubase SX3 or 4 for multitrack recording Reson is good for a few things. but we mainly use it as an instrument and some sequencing features. its not a reocrding progam, Use it rewired too ableton or cubase. Djing software wise ... there is stanton final scratch .. but the feature are a lil less. Go Serato Scratch Live

Hey Dan, The e46 M3 bumper wont just "bolt on" so to speak. The '01 bumper shell is about 3/4's of an inch wider each side. There are about three ways to get around this. Buy an OEM M3 Front Bumper '01 bumper shell (dont get the '02 upwards as they have a completely different carrier and the carrier costs about $10,000 as its carbon fiber :| ) Get your guards molded / welded (Mine where cut and M3 gaurds welded on to retain the shape) This had two benefits 1/ I got the wide stance I love so much about the car and 2/ if I were to ever ding / smash the front bumper .. I could just buy an off the shelf OEM bumper for repair) Another option is to take the OEM bumper and cut the plastic and reform it with bog like subtance, its a bit more tricky but means you dont have to get your gaurds re-done. And the final option is to get one of the Ebay ones floating around. I've seen them on a few cars and they dont look too bad they will fit a Sedan. You'll probably want to do m3 side skirts, good news they fit straight on! and are only about $350 each from BMW for the rear bumper. unless your hell bent on getting an M3 rear I would stick with the Mtech 2 "Coupe" Rear ... BMW make an adapter kit that allows the coupe rear bumper to fit the sedans no more black or painted moldings! here are some resources for you. My build thread and also info I used for the front bumper. As for the rear bumper and side skirts. I was on my own http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index.php?showtopic=5687 Its 9 pages .. but has most of what I have done in there This is for a facelift e46 sedan and this one shows you the difference in size for the gaurds .. and here he has cut and reformed the bumper shell http://www.e46fanatics.com/features/feature.php?news_id=44

hey chris, Give Brett a phone on 0275 630 363 (the owner) Tell him Josh with the silver e46 sent you and said that he said you will look after you. If you cant get hold of Brett, Give Paul a phone 0274 928 035 and say the same thing .... also ask him how the e39 is coming along and tell him to get his ass on a run of ours

CSL bits are stupid money .... trust me .. looked into it when I did the body conversion.. Aftermarket is way cheaper and you get some great detailing
-
The guys in the states cant get CSL's ... so they just by US version M3's and chuck CSL bits on them.

paint job is, the chemicals to actually get the chrome look aint. that .. and youll need about 30,000 odd to do it (if you could get the chemicals)

One problem with all this.... cost and supply of parts. I dont see certain parts holding as well without modification.

andrews words: wheel base is too short for e30's to be compeditive. needs more touring

I think in all fairness, its a simple mistake for anyone to make ... I think we all have shoes that really shouldnt be worn while driving. We all have at some point hit the pedal and slightly missed and press more on the accelarator pedal. Very easy mistake to make in an auto. Glad it wasn't too bad and everyone was ok ...

oh no .... its the chrome m3 (e46fanatics in joke )

if your going to rev your engine .... then yes this is for you ... if your realistically want more bottom end ...this isnt for you. you know ... a twin turbo setup whould be nice .. 2 x mitsi evo turbos would be perfect

Dear Sam, hmmm you car is pretty clean dude.... I would maybe stick with it bit do the following Xenon HID kit upgrade for projectors Cyrstal euro smoke side markers / indercators for front. Ollies red-out tails And to be honest not much else. If you really want to change the look of your car .. start with the wheels. Re-dish some BBS RS's to 17 inch with polished step lip and stretched rubber .... match the line to the gaurds , 9 inch rear 8 inch up the front... do this .... it'll be pimp. Infact do the wheel thing .. you'll love it your friend josh.

Paid for both myself and worked my ass off for them both .. Im out _every_ weekend cleaning both the 330i and the m325i .. keeping them in top order.
-
not my cup of tea _but_ its the best looking one on chromes i've seen around. You've pulled the 'look' off really well .. nice work
-
Think of it this way, Itll be about the same price fitting and painting a geniune mtech / m3 hit to an e36 as doing an engine upgrade. Much in a muchness. I too looked at this when doing the 330 .. I went the more powerful motor route and kitted it via modding afterwards.
