MH370 victims that never collected their cars.......

I was thinking of the same thing, my research says that the DCT are very capable devices, swap out to the "racing" clutch packs and off you go. Not sure how compression locking would go if you peddled hard in the wet??
-
That's just ridiculous ain't it.... Wonder if the bank could convert my mortgage into a few hundred hours of community work??

Great ... a beneficiary driving a $1000 car gets a $5 income adjusted fine for being 5klm hr over the limit Wealthy business man driving a $400,000 car gets a $5 income adjusted fine for being 5 klm hr over the speed limit because all his assets are in trust, business earning are zeroed out to avoid all tax and the loss attributing company that owns the car will see his $5 fine re-credited back to him. The rest of us are screwed (as usual) and will pay a $100 fine. QED...

Apologies if this thread is done to death some where else.... But has any one used: http://www.beforward.jp/beforward_newzealand to import? Is it as easy as it looks? Any problems? Any recommended compliance centres? Any other recommend importing companies? Cheers.

Yes correct, the oil change indicator for heavy diesel motors I put in my earlier post is that the oil changes directly correspond to total fuel load over a given period. So say change oil every 2500 liters of fuel used. I'm guessing that's what the old oil service lights worked off on the E30,E36etc.
-
You can have your oil tested, it would be interesting to see after 25k. You take a small sample they analyse it for wear, carbon, water, fuel contamination etc etc Thats how they know to change oil on big engines esp diesels, like trucks, heavy marine or large power system generators. Mate works in that industry, recons that oil even tho it may look like dirty brown pooh still may be perfectly functional and have all the wear protection you need for a particular application. Test probably costs more than an oil change tho he he.

Great meet, well done MissBM and friends!

Hmmm yeah maybe it did. I had a 95 325i coupe with that skinny one it had the red airbag light at the bottom of the bottom spoke.
-
I think the later evos got the bigger round three spoke wheel in NZ not sure about other country's. The 3.0 like my 93, have the big flat four spoke ones. I also had a 97 and im pretty sure it had that small one.
