Looks good mate! good to hear its all legit now! Andy (haydens mate)
  3. was originally going to put an S38 into my wagon but couldnt find one at the time, genuine E34 M5 Tourings are very rare but do exist! Edit: just thinking about this car, I'm pretty sure all M5 Tourings have thin grills?? am i wrong?
  4. E30 316i Manual Coupe, New Zealand new 1990 or maybe 1991 anyone know what this plug dangling here is for? everything appears to be connected, and because of location im going to guess something to do with charcoal canister or something. was this deleted from the factory due to our leaded fuel at the time the car was sold, or has someone taken it out at some point in its life? Whatever it is, i don't NEED it, i just want know!
  5. can anyone tell me if the bushes will work on a drum brake setup E30 316i? can't see why not?
  6. I assume your the same guy that asked on the first auction for them a few weeks ago? you'll have to play round with it, the E30 uses 4 bolts, the E34 uses two bolt and two slide in hooks. you may be able to modify i dont know. i have both and E30 and an E34 here so i guess i could investigate tomorrow before i get on the turps someone else thats tried it can probably chime in, if anyone has
  7. unsure about the back, but the front will look good when you remove holder
  8. over the last few days been making the most of no work and tidying up things that are annoying me on the wagon that weren't working or etc from when the engine conversion was done. started pouring through ETMs and making diagrams/notes of all the little things that don't work in the car. none of these are WOF requirements except technically the foglights must go or not be installed at all, so there was most of a day! haven't got into these yet, thats next weeks job after new years etc. gutted one of the mufflers on the exhaust, has made it a bit noisier, but still not enough for me so thats going to get a bit more work yet, probably remove the cats next? included roadtrip to my mates place in Te Horo in the trusty 316i, looked very funny with the roof racks on and an E34 exhaust on the roof! good day for it yesterday though. wound down the adjustable coil overs an inch all round, and wound up the spring rate a bit, looks much tougher now. before anyone asks, yes i measured ride height its inside the cert-plate requirements by the hair of your teeth with noone in the car and an almost empty fuel tank so at least all still road legal. has removed the gap over the front wheels which has been annoying me for ages. then fitted spacers to the back to push the Schnitzers out, look very cool with -12 offset! surprisingly dont rub normal driving, but if you get on the power the ass squats down of course. might have to leave them on so i dont get tickets ha! might have to get one of you to roll the gaurds when i go to auckland, will have to read up as i dont know what that actually entails, just know its the solution lol. got some 15mm ones for the front but the bolts that came with them, the heads are too long, so will get some custom engineered up.
  9. have three and a half more weeks of leave to go... hmm e: as long as it doesnt rain between wellington and there lol
  10. thats included in the circuit, but the K11 relay is the overall rider and power. at this stage im working down the pipeline from 12V. Relay Module is also included
  11. very similar, i suspect i have a sedan layout now though because of my conversion. mine is the same layout as the picture i posted. the two relays you have labeled next to the GM are non existant, not even holders for them. annoyingly, its the wipers im currently looking at but not sure where the relay is. i will post a photo of mine shortly, just going to edit it in FXPaint first. excuse the redundant 750iL spagetti for powered rear seats and blinds and stuff an E34 touring doesnt have. Edit2: picture should say fuse holder is burnt out, not fuse
  12. The front fusebox is fine, has numbers and a diagram etc. but the back isnt so friendly. looking for something similar to this: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=21815 and this is the best i have so far.. at least some of them are labeled: i can pour through the ETM and find what im looking for, but there must be the resource i need somewhere! Cheers, Andy
  13. +1, was a good excuse to detail the tourer for summer! Have a great christmas all! P.S. Im coming to your place tomorrow
  14. Protectant actually makes it worse. Once it starts to crack though it wont stop. A dash mat would be your best option though
  15. Might have, no idea on sizes but were for a set of RS-GTs to go on my E30 back in the day
  16. i dont think I'm supposed to say this, but find someone that has a Repco's trade card. HUGE discount on chargers.
  17. probably fine for a Daily. still need to be certed though. but they wont handle that great. have XYZ in my touring and they are excellent. worth the extra spend? not sure on how you value handling. are they $500 bolt in or will they require the front struts to be modified?
  18. i use a brand new top of the line battery charger (cost around $300 retail, but i didnt pay that ) for my touring, because i really only use it on the weekend and that motor needs a lot of juice to get started. i have it on a timer to click in at 4am and shut off at 8am every day, and that keeps it ready for action whenever i need it. Also, because of the battery being under the back seat i had to pull it every time i wanted to connect the charger, so made a charging socket in the boot of the car (fused of course)
  19. $200, can deliver to most of north island on way through to coromandel in a few weeks
