-
dont know for sure, but probably just have to remove the centre console and you should see it? there will be a hole in the carpet already for the gear leaver to come through thats just my interpretation though, could be wrong etc
-

pretty self explanatory. reading from left to right its a 17" G5 iMac, with a 1.8GHz PowerPC Processor, 256MB Ram and 80GB HDD. never figured out what the SD means, they all seem to have that. then obviously got built in 56k modem (wohoo!) and is optimised for world wide AC power. of course, thats just what it came from the factory with, could have changed since then someone might have upgraded the RAM etc. this is also a useful Apple website to bookmark, also works for iPhones, Extreme Routers etc you name it. have linked you to part lookup on this iMac specifically http://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/?s...h_keywords=1989 non-iSight 17" iMac G5s are worth next to nothing, i sell them for about $60. mind you, you wouldn't give your dog a 2004 computer running windows. advanced for the day etc, really the first Apple computer than started the accelerated growth

I saw it on Forza first
-
saw that on trade me but talked myself out of it, because i really only wanted it to steal the arch caps. but this was my thoughts too

Is it a G5 PowerMac/Mac Pro, or is it an iMac? I have 10.5 on an OEM disks, if you can promise to send it back asap. No licencing key required as they only work on Apple anyways. i dont think that it will support 1TB if its the G5 iMac, but i could be wrong. But the G5 iMacs are fairly bullet proof machines, the most common issue with them is the power supplies, worth opening up and replacing any domed capacitors, can also usually hear a high pitched noise if you dont have senior ears. as for the PowerMac/Mac Pro versions, havent got a lot of experience as not much of a market for them these days. I have three of them that are coffee tables in my lounge, can post photo lol

parking sensors or maybe jammers on the front of it? could be a fiberglass kit though, the front valance doesnt look quite right to me cant put my finger on it! no fog lights either which is strange E: its an 87, so yep probably will be fiberglass

hehe, posted it up for a laugh, didnt think it would come through! They did truncate the Thanks To part though!

r3v is a good forum, i havent been active for ages seeing as i dont have a modded E30, but might go kick some tyres there again at some stage. all this sort of aftermarket type stuff for E30s you can find there.

On the US forums, the JOM ones seem to have a good bang for buck. havent heard of the other ones so not sure if worth the gamble. of course, at this price level, they will handle poorly (for a coilover) and height is the only adjustment possible. a brand new set of springs is around this mark, and shocks on top of that, so doesnt take a genuios to figure these out. However low on a budget id recommend them though. E: only trouble you may have is the spring rate on them, if you car is a 2.5L and assuming you will be certifying the car.

I like the late model idea. Novus or similar will be able to help other wise you could try urethane or something like that

When i didnt know any different, E30s were really nice to drive. Then i got my e34. Not as fun in twisties because of weight, but as a cruiser car... 190E should be about the same as e30, so 1000kg sounds right

purist edit: bimmer not beamer, a beamer is a bike lol 540i are good value for money, you get more car for the same money, and economy will be about the same for daily driving. my understanding is the 330i has specific parts to that model but i could be wrong. that said if you are dailying in a city, a 540i is quite a big car like a falcon/commodore so parking can be a bitch. i cant take my 5er into wellington, impossible to find a park big enough -
seeing as your car is ex racecar greg, high chance it already has a different flywheel?
-
nah nah nah you dont understand, fixed rust doesnt bring bitches

dont forget, going up another 2 inches in wheel size will make a difference to perceived ride height as well, your tucking tyre on 14s there in the back, that will be quite close to the rim with 16s. from the awkward angle photo in your sig, i'd personally say its about bang on for height as it is now.... hard to know what its like in real life and only you will know
-
are you talking about shortening the shock itself or the strut housing? you can shorten the housing and no run into issues, and wont change the spring physics. shortening the shock will though you are right, and is not the correct procedure to go lower unless you are also fitting lowering springs. not sure if this latter process is required to be certed, i dont know anyone that has, but thats not saying it is legal like that -- im comfortable posting that i spent roughly $2500 on my coilovers including modifying front hub/strut assay, crack testing (compulsary for cert) and certification. real cost to me was less because car had to be certed for engine etc anyway. This is E34 but E30 will be more or less the same cost as bolt in E30 kits arent available off the shelf AFAIK. also, if you dont see them as a performance upgrade and the sole reason you want them is for the hellaflush look or whatever you call it this month, then you can get much cheaper chinese made units that aren't 30 way adjustable etc.
-
You will have to have that certified, so my 5cents is to get adjustible suspension if its in your pricerange, otherwise deal with the height
-
Think Jon at JKSE (forum sponsor) does, or maybe it was on cutties, there was a lowered one there several months ago im sure of it.
-
But i would paint it too. Usually a prium for factory colour matched bumpers anyway. Brillianttrot would be close to a colour from toyota or similar i would have thought. Its not an off-red like tizianrot or calypsotrot
