the M3 or the Merc? either way, didnt really look that hard. E: almost forgot to mention, saw a pair of E30s, not sure if coincedence they were together or not. one was an alpine white on 17 or 18" Alpina's with the plate RULE72, and the one behind it was a red one probably hell rot with a tech1 spoiler, was too busy looking at the first one to notice the second initially! on SH1 just north of Porirua about 2pm

thats the story! yep id be happy with 15L too.
-
Hell, i don't muck around in my V12 and i still get better than that on a run! would have thought yours being a more advanced motor albeit more powerfull it would be better than that!
-
welcome! plenty of E28s here, but not much in the way of Stanceworks-ish material, im sure you will be the trend setter.
-
My 316i would be a good candidate! manual everything already

Silver E30 M3, probably the same one Ive seen a bit, parked opposite CPA almost everytime ive driven past in the last week or so! Also, for the wider minded amoung you, a M-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Evo AMG. they are recognisable instantly with the big wing on the back!
-
dont think headlight wipers work, supposed to be parked 90 degrees further round on both sides, insides horizontal outsides vertical.
-
Do you have CPA in Auckland? im not sure if they are chain or not.

dont know a huge amount about the E38, but will be different DME and in turn EWS will need to be changed too if equipped, should be. Wouldnt say a repower would be worth it being so heavy.. only you will know that though. cheapest option, replace the head gasket. you will come away with a car you know the history of. remember to solve the problem that caused it to overheat in the first place, unless its just the headgasket that went randomly

depreciation of $10-20-30k in one year or a 20 minute detour to VTNZ? no incentive here either
-
interesting! To anyone wanting to work out $S to $NZ, its $1:$1 and pretty much always has been. yes $30m is the same $30m here

Anyone else spot the E34 Touring Jeremy is sleeping in in the montage at the start?
-

the worst of the cars that already drive with no WOF (or Rego for that matter) are not impacted. will the roads really be any safer? I dont really understand what was wrong with our current system.

no thats not genuine. cant find a picture on google to show you but it will look something like this http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=71&fg=10 just checked the part number on the towbar on my E30, it is different to the one in this photo, but my BMW part number is 88 88 1 500 164
-
you are correct. you just remove the bumper and the 5mph mounts, and the towbar slides into place, and the bumper bolts back over the top. you probably already know this but the fl and pfl bars are different be sure to get all the correct bolts when you buy, they can be hard to find. i learnt the hard way in the past.

i think the clock looks cleaner, but because you have the OBC might at well keep it.

Hey guys want to paint the rails on the roof of my wagon back to black. removing them is out of the picture i think, i presume i will have to drop the headliner to do that, more hassle than its worth so my rookie question is what sort of tape should i use to tape newspaper down around it? because the tape will be going onto paint should i use a special type or would good old renovators masking tape be safe to use? here is photo what im on about, you can see the black flaking off showing white underneath etc cheers

not a bad price at all. if that top speed is too low for you you could put a higher geared diff in there if 100km/h is too slow for you.
