  1. I called 200 and added my pin number as per the instructions on the pack, i didnt go through the other menus coz i already know how to check balance etc etc will try it again
  2. just installed mine, am using a 2D sim and its not working, has anyone else tried one? ill see if i can find my old voda sim
  3. Installed my GPS tracker yesterday and finishing it off later today, and currently modifying an M52 trim cover to fit over the custom fuel rail kerry made... not that its not a work of art or anything mate
  4. Questions like this are a very stupid thing to ask on a forum dedicated to one make of car. $20 says if you asked on a Mitsubishi forum you would get the polar opposite answer
  5. nope all done by owners who take pride in thier car, and detailed the engine bay.
  6. Hey guys. need to sell the Volvo now the E30 is nearing completion. Will be on trademe by weeks end if not sold prior green colour, a little rough around the edges and done 280xxxkms but was used as a commuter hence the high kays so at least half of that is just cruising at 100kmh. virtually all bearings, gasets, bushings etc (all the wear items) have been replaced at least once some cases twice. new tyres right round less than 5000kms ago. Is the top specced model with the 2.3L intercooled turbo engine which runs exactly as it should, and the transmission is not notchy or jerky at all. all new fluids less than 5000kms ago as well. Has a warrent till November and rego has just gone last month Is a high specced example with heated seats, fully automatic climate control (i have removed the belt to the compressor as i dont use aircon but car will come supplied with a new belt never been used), automatic lights, airbag, side impact bars, overdrive switch, sunroof, seven seats, and the garrett turbo in place of the mitsubishi one Surprisingly economical when driving the car off boost, returns around 8-9L/km. heavy foot-ness will have the car on boost so obviouslly drops a bit, but easy to keep off it. The car also is pretty grunty as well with the biger engine and the turbo. Again, as the car has been driven at high cruising speed, turbo is not worn like you would expect on a turboed car with this many kms. Has a few cosmetic issues you would expect from this milage car, but mecahnical things that may or may not need attention: sunroof does not open/close/tilt as it is taped shut because it needs a new seal (leaks on heavy downpour + parked car facing down hill). also drivers window goes up and down but i think the window is loose on the bracket. rear left door opens from the inside always, but only sometimes from the outside, again probably just a bar loose. panel on tailgate is loose, held on by tape. Seats are all fine except for one place where the fabric has come apart at the seam, no damage to fabric just needs a stitch or five. Looking for $1500 ono, or swap for a BMW cash either way, anything considered. All in all makes a perfect work wagon, or a run about that doesnt point it nose up when the going gets tough, such as carting E30 parts from your moms http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=xj1319 Thanks, Andy 0273079322 or PM
  7. Yeah thats what club auto is for. they are run by tower. Wouldnt insure the volvo either coz, quote: "its a 2.3L Turbo, and regardless of the fact it probably stuggles to pull the skim off milk, the computer says no, try club auto"
  8. Bastard! if it wasnt my night to cook for the flat it would have been mine fuuuuuuuuuuuuu
  9. "it decided to sheer all the wheel bolts off mid corner"
  10. [offtopic]looks like you got my mates car, was that silver E36 smashed into on the other side?[/offtopic]
  11. ^thats a medium case, and a good price too
  12. ^ same g. GPS tracking ftw. will have another one eventually too However pretty sure you cant use the power antenna wire though, coz thats only live when the areial is either going up or down. and even if it is live, the amp will only run when the headunit is set to radio
  13. club auto do agreed value, but they are quite expencive. was my last resort though as i had no other options... i have fines, had a crash and 18 lol
  14. putting the interior of the E30 back together, got a bit of an oil spill on the back seat (leather) pretty sure its brake fluid. any idea how to remove the stickyness? dont want to damage the leather if i can help it, though i fear i have already done so btw after typing this, i swear the stickyness on the backseat is definately originted from a bottle ;p
  15. yeah well as you can see it runs fine! no back firing, no loss of power at certain RPM etc etc runs great :S
  16. Yep, though its costed more than i expected. definately worth it, but would have considered it for a while longer. yeah ill do a better video eventually. this will do so y'all know im not a BSer that it goes haha put the M50 sensor in but still on the M52 cams and it makes no difference whether its plugged in or not which is odd from what you were saying to me. it doesnt run rich or lean or anything, im considering just leaving the M52 cams in there for good, unless your sure i will get even more power doing the swap?
  17. heres a video. noone home to help take it sorry so not the best. had to sit it on the kerb coz the letter box is angled lol
  18. Are all of the above cars on factory suspension??? they all need drops! they look good as they are though!
  19. could always do it like the previous owner did in my 316i.. just lay it over the top bae seriously though, if its a sedan just pull up the plastic parts where the doors close on one side and take out the back seat base (grab hold of the front and pull up, nothing to undo) and poke a wire through and then clip the carpet back down. dont forget to thread behind the seatbelt anchorage. not sure about coupe as i havent owned one but probably very little different
  20. great will have a look after i make a video
  21. Good idea! didnt even think of that! Though one of my flatmates is home today anyway ... now just to talk to the council to get my road closed for 10 minutes will be in the video. The back doesnt rub at all which im really happy about. i definately didnt want to roll the rear gaurds. only a slight amount of rub in the front on the current suspension when you go over big dips in the road. But car is getting lowered another 40mm or so in the front and adding camber plates so the geometry is quite different now to what it finally will be. if i have to roll the front gaurds i will, but id rather not. thinking i might do it across the whole panel so the it still looks factory, just sticks outa bit more not really sure yet. definately wont be pulling the gaurds though, i HATE that look with a passion Yes all sorted out good tightening up of the hoses and the thermostat housing and its dissappeared
  22. Im still using the same driveshaft from when i had the M20 in there and never had trouble before, only thing thats changed is removing the driveshaft, and i may or may not have taken it apart. i thought each half was balanced on its own, not as one unit. therefore probably is out of balance then. will have a look for said marks tomorrow. if you have a photo of what im looking for that would be great! btw Palazo, was going to ask that question anyway
