I run all Sony gear through out my car with the exception of my capacitor. Its not the best quality stuff, but imo the best bang for buck. people will probably disagree with me though. One sub is adequate in an E30, but i run two anyway so i can crank it up when i feel particularly obnoxious Can detail my setup if you like.

disconnecting brake pedal

easy as. find the pivot that connects the pedal lever to the L shaped direction shifter, unclip the u clip, and slide out the pin. then look for a small spring and take it out. this can be a bitch. then look at the top pivot for the pedal and you will find a 17mm nut on one side and a torx head on the other (iirc from mine. yours may be different depending on year etc). Unbolt that and then the brake pedle should slide out. If you are staight replacing a manual peedal for another one, assembly is the same as removal. If its part of a manual conversion, fit manual pedal in place using the longer manual pivot and then the clutch pedal as well and do up. Then connect the pin and u clip and adjust as necessary. Should make sence when you are in the drivers footwell. -
yeah you may be resricting your market a bit bringing in S54s. they may be good and all, but its possible the E30/E36 guys will be less keen on them, and tuned E46s arent big here yet. Bring in as many S50s as you can imo

actually thinking about it some more you probably would be better off with NZ M5x over the US engine by the time you take shipping into consideration. I didnt take that into acount. Still though, Euro S50s are, imho, over priced for what they are. id be surprised if equivelent power cant be had for half that, and bolted into the car ready to go with suspension and brakes for about the same or not much more. hard out. seriously though, id pay up to 5 or 6k for one (obviously im not going to find one for that), more than that and it just becomes extra buck for no extra bang. may as well spend the rest of that on an Mxx instead and get it to go as good if not better, or import one of the US-Spec ones, or look towards our Japanese brothers

it may actually have bullet proof glass.. it was an option on E38s, though whether that extends to the 7228i i dont know.

raced someone in an E30 on saturday night, plate was N_#### and had a loud and obnoxious exhaust. Was in the Volvo, didnt seem to impressed that i managed to keep up with them haha

South African accent? thats what i got from that -
never seen the point in being so low. the above is true to an extent, but 100mm is the lowest i want to ever be on NZ roads. I used to be 70mm in the back on compressed superlows, and the 80ish in the front, before i raised it again 2 weeks later. imo a car still has to be practicle enough and give you the enjoyment of driving without having to look for ~50mm increases in the height of the road.

ahh yip. you hear a lot of people claiming to be a storeman when they really just stack xd. wish we had a forklift :/ our store is too small though, we dont need one.

was looking at an escudo/vitara before i brought the volvo. those are extremely capable off roading which is what id do with it!

never heard of a part time storeman.. do you do the invoicing and receiving and whatnot, or is this a fancy name for a shelf filler? Also work at a NW, different one though. Full time in the storeroom as both a storeman and shelf filler, also do checkouts and produce. Basically just cover sickness, annual leave etc but always 45+ hours a week. gap year ftw Plan A this year was to go to Weltec but they lost my application and it was too late by the time i found out. Looking to leave NW soon though hopefully.
