im not interested in restoring my seats yet either, but what i was recommended to do and seems to be okay ime was use shoe polish/nugget which brings the leather up good and also gets into the white cracks and dyes/covers them black. makes them a lot less noticable. just not a good idea to sit on them for a day or so after you do it so it has time to soak in, as it will rub off on clothes if you do a skid straight afterwards. May have trouble finding tan shoe polish though?

what does your dad do? no charge getting tyres from tonys/beaurepairs/other as they supposedly have to pay per tyre to get them taken away. hes probably happy to give them away no?

okay cant find any indication it in my brief look on the disk and manual. on the contrary said its fine for them. maybe i read it somewhere on the forums not to use it on E38s, i know i definately read it somewhere!! Ill edit this post if i find something

looking at thier listing they said they have used it on an E38, but the listing i got it off said not to use it iirc. will dig out the manuals to verify now

yeah thats the one i have. can vouch for them. used them on various bimmers with good results. does quite a bit of stuff. Resets all modules together or individually, does live data logging etc. quite tric for the price. Sorry i didnt check your location, if you are from wellington your welcome to come have a look. @ 1Rotty: they arent compatible with E38s for some reason as stated on the packaging/install disks and software, so assuing the above mentioned 740 was an E38, that would be why.

who were/are you with out of interest? you were really lucky there. They may waive the blown shocks and accept you didnt know about them, but everyone knows when things like warrents/rego/tinted tails are on the car

obviously i didnt mean they dont get stolen. but we all know they arent as desirable to these people as Cefs, R32s, Evos and WRXs for example though...

^ your car has this feature aftermarket. E30s didnt come factory with remote locking. Chances are his alarm/remote will be different to yours, if he even has one

will be sure to keep aan eye out down here. A guy i used to be friends with had a +600HP Laurel for a couple of months before it was stolen.. never recovered as far as i know. these guys make me sick. Just another reason to stick to the euros.. most people that way inclined dont like euros anyway.

i think its 5x108 which is a hard pattern to match iirc? in an ideal world it would get dish and drop, but that wont be happenin at least until the Bimmer is finished, certed, and able to take over DD duties before i even think about it.
