What are you on about?

Different schools of thought on this, and its something i've noticed a lot of over the recent years... probably why i stopped playing with photoshop a few years back. People have stopped trying to make the cars look photo real, the kinda thing i'm talking about is where you have to stop and think about if it's actually a photochop or not... It was what my friends and i started doing back in the day and over the last 5 years or so it's shifted into the very obviously photochopped very rendered sort of look... Not saying either way is better but an observation.... What you guys think?

Offer Beer and Pizza to others to come help... They can kick back with a beer and tell you what you need to do. You get some company and guidance and they get free beer... best of both worlds...

This would only be effective if the pc it was hosted on was constantly poling the servers\nodes\etc for an update. I know it wouldn't use much bandwidth but in the same effect depending how you have your av setup it could do the same thing. In effect it works like a corperate av setup

My understanding it was originally an anti-carjacking feature, incidently it's/was a "feature" of alot of alarms for awhile, not sure if it still is or not.
-
My understanding is also thats how normal av is meant to work I've been using Avira AntiVir (http://www.free-av.com/) on my friends pc's as a free anti-virus software and it's been trouble free and has picked up and stopped a few virus's on those that download alot of crap. Really not a fan of AVG - didn't pick-up a bunch of virus's on a workmates old hdd that i looked at for him.

Sorry dude - i think you misunderstood my statement. It was in responce to Ari Gold and his statement "When I start seeing big lips on every corner except hunters' , I'll agree with you" - I was simply putting it out there that there is alot of people with dished rim's. And if you want dished rims, black centers with polished lips, stretched rubber etc... you're more than welcome to them - as this was an opinions thread i was stating my opinions, if that differs from yours thats kool, didn't mean to offend.Â

Inappropriate or Irrelevant Content on Bimmersport
DRTDVL replied to bravo's topic in General Discussion
I'd just like to second this, a few forums i'm on still have a "Lounge" thread so to speak but it's been rehashed a few times, and as such the people that tended to cause the crap filtered out and left the forum leaving it as more of a chat room for members to post random things and talk about general crap, which in no way as stupid/attackfull as it was previously. In princable i like the idea of "The lounge" as feel something like that would be good, but for the first week or 3 it would need careful monitoring by mod's/admin's to help set the tone of the place. Unfortantly it's very easy to say things you wouldn't normally say on the internet as there is no one in your face to potentially knock you lights out for being a <insert generic term that you deam relevent> and that inherantly is the problem with the internet. Bimmersport is a great forum... I love the fact you guys have a motorsport section, and thats the main reason i'm here even tho i don't own a bmw (which i was expecting to cope a lot more crap about if i might say so). I'd like to think i've been able to provide some helpful information to others that is relevent, as i know i have learnt a few things on here that are directly relevent to my pugs. I'd just like to say thanks to all the Admin's/Mod's and members for actually caring enough to actively try and make things better, whether it be by giving threads a chance or by closing threads/ deleting posts that are inflamitory. You will always get members that try and push other members buttons and it has lead to the downfall of many a good club/forum - many never recover from it, to those members that feel offended (and no doubt there are some) please remember that most people are on here for the same reason - and as it appears these mod's / admin's don't suffer fools gladly... Thoughts of a Peugeot Owner on a BMW Forum... -

http://www.loqu.com/bmw-m5-ute-conversion-.../barbara8i-2216 Nearly two years ago, in December 2006 we told you about an Australian fella that had just begun transforming a previous generation BMW M5 sedan (E95) into the ultimate V8-powered Ute (see here). Now the proud owner of the Down-Under El-Camino, Stuart Appleby from New South Wales, Australia announced that the BMW M5 Ute project has finally been completed. -Continued While the vehicle has yet to be dyno-tested, the builders are saying that the M5’s tuned 4.9-liter V8 could make as much as 460 HP. Even though the conversion of an M5 into a Ute will certainly seem like sacrilege to many gearheads, we must admit that it is a very well executed one. More pics via above link.
