IT is a pretty big all encompassing field. I have no formal IT training (although I am PMP and PRINCE2 Practitioner certified) but am currently a Project Manager (one of several) on a US$500 million IT software project for the Californian Government. I'd stick to IT but as mentioned elsewhere become specialized and certified in one aspect. Cheers Grant

For those about to rock at AC/DC, I salute you

They don't come much cooler than this. I really think that these are some of BMWs best work. Cheers Grant

Yeah but a high proportion of posts are by Emily herself in either telling us about a flat tyre or blatantly for the purpose of getting attention/raising post count. Also anyone else sick of the word "fail"? It's overuse is a massive pain in the ass.

Very cool project! Kudos to you big fella

I know that this is a bit out in left field but it could be the thermostat. I dunno - just throwing it out there!

The Hamilton one applies equally to the Tauranga one. Both small cities with inferiority complexes. Before anyone gets defensive, I was born in Tauranga and lived the majority of my life in Hamilton. Overall these are very funny and pretty damned accurate. Cheers Grant

Mine consists of a Monteith's beer bottle opener, keys and alarm fob to the Subaru, ditto for the VW, a key to the house and a key to my office.

In English please. Using text speak just makes you sound like an uneducated moron. Cheers Grant

My parents recently sold my mothers one. Sounds similar to the one you are describing. Sold it for $3500. Cheers grant

I'll tell you this, I am sick of this completely dominating the news over here...as though it is the most important thing that happened in the world! The news I watch here goes from 5.00pm - 6.30pm. The 5.00 - 5.30 section is local news (I missed this as was coming home from work), 5.30pm - 6.00pm is NBC Nightly News (National and International News), then a repeat of the local news from 6 - 6.30pm. The NBC Nightly News was Michael Jackson from 5.30 - 5.48, then again from 5.55 - 6.00 (and this is a day after it all happened...last nights news was as bad). I think its funny that all rational perspective goes out the window and everyone jumps on the bandwagon (a bit like the sudden demand for any Michael Jackson CD's and anything else related to him). Surely if people are fans they would already have the CD's etc. Anyway that's my 2c, and before people have a whinge about my lack of respect for the dead, this is not my point at all, my point is purely how all rational perspective goes out the window when an event like this happens. Cheers Grant

Ryan - get the 911. It is tenfold cooler than any E36. I can't understand why you are even having to think about it.

The new jokes have already started "what were the paramedics singing when trying to restart Michael Jackson's heart?" "Beat it" All bad taste jokes aside, he was a talented man... Wierd, but talented Cheers Grant

I think it is phenominal looking. I love it Cheers Grant

Funny you should say that. I watched the Ohio Indy race and then immediately afterwards watched the F1. I was thinking that the F1 cars looked like toys after watching Indy. I'm off to the Indy cars at Sonoma in a few weeks. Am looking forward to it. It is a road course too so it should be good. Cheers Grant
-
Just my opinion, but I don't see the attraction. It is mint, I'll give it that, but it is ugly, boring and square. Horses for courses I guess. Cheers Grant

Yeah - but the engine would be nicely worn in by the time you got in Auckland, and you could literally stop and smell the roses on the way up.Cheers Grant
