The downside here though is that when you receive calls and texts they are counted against your monthly allocation of minutes or texts In saying that though we have the cheapest AT&T family plan and we have never got anywhere near our allcation of either and our rollover minutes are up over 4000

I have the unlimited data plan on my iPhone for $30 US. You are wrong about the US and texting. People here are as text mad as NZers. The plans here are pretty competitive. We don't have a landline. We have no need for it at all. Even ringing NZ from my iPhone is cheap, 3c per minute. Cheers Grant

I do like the rally car looking E36 Compact.

I'm not a fan, and agree with Mark on the Prius comment.

The only SMG I have been in was an E46 M3 CSL. I thought it was brilliant. Loved the blipping for the downshifts.

Unfortunately I think you are right, New Zealand is becoming much more dangerous, and is far from the safe little country at the bottom of the world.Pretty sad, but I guess that was due to happen with the way in which the world is now a much "smaller" place, and physical isolation means a lot less than it used to. It is also sad that it is not just the bad parts of Auckland (and other cities) that you have to be vifilant in, it is the nicer areas like Herne Bay etc. Cheers Grant

I have never been a fan of 'verts of any nature, however living in a place where the sun is nearly always shining, and there are rarely any clouds in the sky, I have an appreciation of them now, and in fact am becoming a fan (maybe I'm just coming out of the closet). I really like E36 'verts.. I'm yet to be convinced by a PT Cruiser 'vert (and would struggle to be seen in one). I was recently looking for an E30 325i vert, as they are dirt cheap here, however could not find one I really liked in time, and ended up with something else completely. If I had to pick from the above list, it would have to be a non 'M' Z3. However I would be perfectly happy to own a 2.8l non M version. Cheers Grant

That's pretty shocking. Glad you got away unscathed.

Gus had the best one for his courier work...from what I remember it was a fixed gear, and had no brakes. Lunatic!

Looks to be a fantastic car. Best of luck with the sale.

You've come a long way since that terrible funny green E30! Have a great day. Cheers Grant

It didn't satisfy the low km's requirement though. But, it was a damned good car ( and still is I'm sure). Cheers Grant

Good effort, and nice writeup. Well done. Cheers Grant

I see the odd G8 (SS VE Commodore) around. About 4 months ago there was a massive marketing offensive for it, but since GM has been on the skids, I have not seen a advert for the G8 for ages. I always thought that they were pretty good buying, probably cheaper to buy one here, than buying one in NZ. In the adverts here they always compared it to the the BMW 550i...so that is where they aimed it. I hope that however GM survives, and what ever brands they decide to keep that they just migrate the SS VE Commodore across to one of the surviving brands (such as Caddy). Cheers Grant

We have always used wither Mike Henry or SCTI (Southern Cross). I'm not sure what the claims payout is like, we have needed to make one. Cheers Grant

When you own two cars, neither of them BMW's, live the other side of the world, yet have been around long enough to still feel a part of the family.

Looks to be a very nice car and reasonably priced I'd seriously consider it if looking for one. Cheers Grant

Happy Birthday Ewald Great to see you around here from time to time. Have a great day! Cheers Grant

Emily, if you have nothing constructive so say, then do us all a favour and shut up.It is hard enough to attempt to police the rules, so in the future if a moderator asks someone to follow the rules, respect that and don't make smart ass comments, otherwise you will find yourself banned again. Welcome. In all seriousness, please type in proper English with correct punctuation and grammar. It makes it easier for all of to read and also you will be taken seriously. Thanks, Grant

I'm inclined to agree with this and think that it is a very good point

Moa is very good. I like the cork concept and the fact it is brewed differently than normal.
