How on earth does:1) the house get cleaned 2) food prepared and delivered 3) beer delivered to you whilst you watch TV on the couch 4) or clothes washed, dried, folded and put away if you live the single life? Cheers I see you live the "traditional" marrage. Hah, you downloading that as well. I'm getting Epidose 3 of season 2 (that aired last night in the US) as I type. Also been downloading 'Prison Break' as well, I am enjoying it. I accidentally downloaded the pilot episode, and have been hooked ever since. Wonder if it will air here some time next year. Cheers Grant
  5. Why look elsewhere, that doesn't seem too bad to me at all. Cheers Grant

  11. I agree. I fail to see a difference as well.Mind you, I am mostly careful about posting plate details up here, because some people are a tad sensitive about it. Cheers Grant
  12. There are about 4 or 5 different new M5's floating around Auckland, I'm amazed at how often I have seen them. Cheers Grant

    M3

Yup, I agreeMy plan is to look for one as soon as I get to the US (will source in California where the climate is pretty 'car friendly'), take my time and buy the right one (budgeting on about $12,000 - $15,000 USD), use the time I am over there to get it up to top notch condition (making as much use of my resident BMW Master Technician that I will have free access to, as possible). I then hope that the importing rules don't change before we come back to NZ (circa late 2008, early 2009), then bring it back to NZ with us. But should the rules change and I am unable to bring it back, I will just sell it over there, hopfully not losing any money....yet still having the M3 to use over there. Failing that I will buy a Mustang. This is the kind of thing I am after (its even in the same city we are looking to settle in): http://www.roadfly.com/bmw/classifieds/car...37&sortby=&dir= Cheers Grant

    A1GP

I have been following the development of the series for some time, and was very much looking forward to the start of the series last night. I wasn't disappointed, the fact that the cars are all the same (apart from the individual settings), and that they have no driver aids, made for some exciting racing. As a huge fan of Formula One, I think that this series has the potential to be better. It may not have the technology, but as a spectacle it is far better. It also shows the quality of our top racing drivers. Expecially the was that Matt Halliday taught Alex Yoong a lesson in how to drive a high performance open wheeler. Lets hope that the remainder of the series is as good as it was last night. Cheers Grant

Also, it is not just a case of waiting till it is 20 years old and then registering it, you actually have to export it, and then re-import it in new owners name. So you will need to budget a few grand to export, and then re-import it. I looked into it with the last one that they were selling, and found out this little published fact. I am still just going to bring one back from the USA with me. Cheers Grant
  18. Gus, I've got a BMW centrecap from my Momo Corse should you buy this and want one.Cheers Grant

  20. I have met her (on a few occassions), when she was lecturing at the University of Waikato in the early - mid 1990's.I actually quite liked her, and found her to be very confident, very intelligent, and very astute, and also someone who called a spade a spade. It seems some people mistake these attributes with arrogance, especially when women are concerned. Cheers Grant
  21. Using that criteria, then I'd go for the E46.You are getting a newer, better looking (in my opinion anyway), cheaper to run, better appointed car, than an E36. Cheers Grant
  22. Depends, what are you after, performance, or a newer better all round car? Not really comparing apples with apples with the two choices. Cheers Grant
  23. Not over the top at all mate, in fact you should get 750i injectors, they are the sh*t in E30's, hell you should get a good additional 80 - 100 rwhp with that set up.I was thinking of adding Dodge Viper injectors to my car, and see if I could crack 1000rwhp. Seriously, as Andrew suggested, a bit of additional research will benefit you a great deal, and save you wasting money. Cheers Grant
  24. why not 3rd gear lol great thoughtyea 5 seconds for me 2 people in car ( of course we didnt go ova that speed afta that ) NO YOU DIDN'TStop lying about times they are just blatently not true and everyone on here knows it! Agreed325_driver, I think you may have chose the wrong forum to make highly untrue claims like that. But you never know, someone might be impressed and believe you, we do get the odd pre-pubescent visitors who may believe you and be suitably impressed. Cheers Grant
  25. I think that you may be dreaming. 4- 5 seconds is in the supercar realm, not E30 325i times. Cheers Grant
