Depends if he used the E36 Gearbox, if I remember my reasearch (as I am doing the same swap) you need an E36 Driveshaft to go with that gearbox. I'm using a Getrag260, and the E30 standard G260 drive shaft. But he could be using a Getrag240 and that's driveshaft... if that was a factory manual E30.. We'll never know.

Oh, my E30's M20 leaked like a pig, and you could see engine oil all over the transmission casings. "tracks" back when you drive forwards I guess.

Dad got stopped at a checkpoint, failed the "first" test because he'd had two stubbies at his end of year thing... then when he was asked for ID had none lol. Check the fluid level... could even be from the engine tracking backwards.

I do not think so, I have seen a few respray'd E30's with colour coded grills... Looks gross to me.

If you take them out just for a WOF you can just leave the hole there.. they won't care.

My E34's manual says that you can run the M30 on 91, but M50's on 95.
