I was just trying to convince my dad to buy it... Why can't my dad be cool and ignore age and milage and just buy something cool!
-
Wow, hahaha. I noticed it was medium case when I had a gander, and it wasn't installed properly. Wasn't worth it for me just to buy for a diff though.

Done, and done.

Did it end up having an LSD?

Anyone know much about the E34's trailer lights module? mine's reporting TRAILER LIGHTS all the time just today.... and the trailer parking lights appear not to work. FUUU. Fuses seem okay on the module... Might swap them anyway. Do these units often go bad? dry joints? ect? NVM, Fixed it.... after checking the Trailer Module, LKM and CCM and all appear to be visually fine... I decided to check over the fuses... Oh hey look at that one... What's Fuse 22? "intense wash system".... oh wait.. Trailer. *facepalm* However, Someone should send me a broken LKM/CCM so I can have a go at fixing one.

It is really, really, really mint.. E30's are only worth what someone is willing to pay anyway.. Needs to add more photo's, piss poor photo for this kind of car nobody will bite at all.

Probably don't want to hear about the entire set I scored off trade me for an absolute steal.... Just because the description sucked.

Interested in the fan part.. not so much wiring. I used an 80/88c thermo switch, have it wired so that the low speed relay doesn't switch the aux fan on to low speed from temperature, instead turns on the fan I installed, which runs faster than the low speed. both should theoretically turn on if it gets to 88c. Some cars, like the E34 I was able to wire in the fan without adding any other major amount of exposed wires, as everything you need is inside the axillary fan relay box. except to the new fan.
-
Yeah, I know.. I might see if I can fab a new bracket for the fan motor.. that shroud is part of the fan bracket, but it comes off.. Unfortunately, my fabrication skills are 1000000x shittier than my wiring skills... Which Because I think I'm awesome, I'm actually going to draw the wiring diagram for that. I didn't have to add any wires, except to the fan.

Electric fan conversion..... Not 100% happy with the fan and how it looks, but it works well... with a good 15mm clearance apart from a few areas. Car's had a new radiator, new water pump, new thermostat... now doesn't leak any oil... excellent.

also there is a payment limit on pin-less payments. about $40-80 and that's what the banks will reimburse.

^ his is a V8, It's like doing two M42's strapped together and twice as annoying due to space.

Contactless is awesome! I'd like to use my phone for NFC Payments, since it has this enabled. You could also drill out the NFC chip in your credit card, as it's not the big gold chip that does this. - and as you noticed, they have to be bloody close, 1-5cm to read the details.

I'd keep sending people to the dealer, euro Italian or mill and when they ask for BMW parts.
-
Ironically, an E30's bumper is like... a sharp protrusion...

Sunroof drain possibly? Sweet - has an Mtech1 wheel. -
That's how I cleared mine, mine was 100% blocked, so if it was parked level water would spew over the sunroof.. I put a bit of tape on the nose of the air gun and fired it down SPLURRRT.

haha, yeah they use to sell MBL8 but, now they sell their own, in little aluminum cans with beer can pop rings.

We've rented this one, 12.8mx10m not too bad. nowhere near houses - has a massive open yard since it's one of a few workshops for testing M52 E30's and sh*t. haha, Dad won't get europlates at least now it can get it's roof fixed and transmission sorted, it won't stay in reverse. It's exceptionally fun to drive.

Best water to use is that water you buy to put in batteries. Demineralized or whatever it is.
-
I could imagine the fuel consumption gauge just being taped over so nobody would cringe lol.
-
A new job.

Saw this today when I was down at our workshop on Portsmouth Drive, looks sh*t hot.

Saw that on TM, so damn tidy! GLWS. Pity it's not an M50. I want a sedan E34.
