  1. Cheers for the replies, funny thing is that I poured 200mL of water down the drain hole to see if it would leak and nothing happened... maybe it is just the sunroof seals.
  2. Will call in tomorrow (hopefully) and have a quick look for you. PM me your mobile number and I can call you when I am looking at it.
  3. My brother came home from school to tell me all about this E36 with some orange, crazy as wheels on it and with a rusted bonnet although he though it was suede... he liked it though. I told him it was Yongxi
  4. After the recent weather Auckland has had, my car has decided that it wants to start leaking from the top left corner of the windscreen (passenger side). It seems to be leaking from the rubber seal but my car has a sunroof and I believe the drainage points from the sunroof run down through the A pillar, past where its leaking from. Is it likely that somehow the drainage holes have rusted and are leaking? Sorry for being vague and I realise that I should take it out so Glenn can look at it but I just wanted to find out if its common for the drainage holes to rust.
  5. Might be doing one in the next few weeks. PM me if you can't find anyone.
  6. Keen to come and have a look when you guys do the shoot.
  7. Not interested in the wheels... I just want to read a build thread of your M30 Turbo, I assume its finished?
  8. Been and looked at that car when I was looking for an E30. It drives like a POS, loads of diff whine, never been serviced and the guy has no idea about cars. Hes had it for 15 years and hes never serviced it....Enough said. ^+1 to this. I would rather buy an E30 with high kms and its been well maintained than a Low km, badly maintained one.
  9. Sytner optioned cars were standard 325i's but they we optioned from factory with Alpina goodies, like wheels, engine, ECUs etc. Some people consider them genuine and others consider them non genuine. What a car is registered under doesn't mean sh*t IMO
  10. ^ Could very well be Sytner optioned car. Just because it doesn't have the wheels etc doesn't mean it wasn't Alpina optioned from factory.
  11. Yep, it does. Just get some of the Kiwi stuff that comes in a circular tin, rub it n to the plastic then buff it off. If you don't buff it off it can run when your car is in the rain next. Looks FAR better if you ask me.
  12. Shoe polished the black trim on my car. Looks sweeettt
  13. Agreed^ Do you really feel the need to post on EVERY thread thats opened, even if it has nothing what so ever to do with the subject?
  14. Bump, forgot to add that I would like them in good condition
  15. Cheers Nathan but its not really what I am after.
  16. After some Beige leather seats for a 4 door E30. Recaro or non recaro, not bothered. Don't need the door cards just the seats.
  17. Unfortunately enough it is legal. They just put it in fine print on your policy, there is a special name for that type of excess but I can't remember it now. Family friend of ours told me, he runs Insure Direct who I'm insured with.
  18. What NAC don't actually tell you is that you have an excess for each car you crash into, i.e. if you crash your car into another one and NAC says your excess is $1200 then you have to pay $1200 for each car so $2400 total
  19. Celebratory skids? Congrats Jack, good work!
  20. I think its quite cheap, like 40 dollars a wheel. But IMO E36s need 17s, 16s look too small
  21. I dont think so, Mines valued at 3k, and I think its worth 3.5k. '86 318i btw. Mine has some goodies though, BBS Wheels and Bilstien Suspension.
  22. Saw the coolest E39 last night next to Palmers on Shore Road. Black, Schnitzer kit, low to the ground with some REALLY wide Oz Futuras I think. Saw it again this morning on Kepa road opposite Kupe Street.
  23. Was a thread about this a while ago but I can't remember who was the OP Edit: Found it http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....t=0&start=0
