Welcome! Great buy, not such a fan of the kit though. Yes, Bilstien shocks + H&R springs are an excellent combo however some people would suggest you go for Koni Adjustable Shocks instead but it all depends on your budget.

^this I disagree, my car (PFL) and has a sunroof is almost rust free. Of course there are those little bits here and there but I have had a complete look over the car and cannot find anything structural. It entirely depends on the car and how it has been treated. Good luck. A tidy, rust free one is hard to come by now days.

Everyone will have different opinions but it comes down to time and money basically. If you want to get it really low then coils but then you have to cert it for the coils and the height you cert it at. It's not the cheapest way but it will allow you to go really low. Super low kits are probably the easiest way and most cost effective of getting your car lower. And well.... compressed springs are illegal so no, don't do that.

The wheels need to be bigger to pull of that look and the red pin stripe is too thick IMO. Sorry, I think it just looks a little tacky

A getrag 240 should hold up fine. People are running them in their M50/2 conversions.

Either will fit. Its P/FL vs FL gearboxes that are slightly different, I think
