Currently owned a 2005 Honda Jazz Sport (1.5 VTEC), driven Swift Sport owned by a friend and test driven a 120d and Copper S Auto. I'd pick... Jazz for space and occupant comfort (space-wise) Swift for $ for value 120d for economy and comfort (noise-wise) Copper S for driving fun and the somewhat cool factor The original new Mini has a not-so-good engine compare to the other 3, but handling is very nice compare to the Jazz and Swift. I haven't tried the 120d that hard to be able to compare but I would imagine 120d will be more stable but slightly lass agile as it has a longer wheel base. Centre speedo didn't bother me at all as it so damn big, can't really miss it. If you are really concerned, there are some that has the speedo & rev-meter behind the steering wheel if it was specced with sat-nav (all Mini) or the gauges pack (S only)

Can't you just ask LicenSys to remake you a normal plate? I would imagine if you have the right to a Euro plate, then you retrospectively can have a "lower class" plate made?

I had a similar problem before, cleaning ICV was no help and eventually changed crank sensor. e36 323i M52

Hi all, I will be start as a 1-hour Courier next month, just want some advice on start-up stuff... 1. Insurace - who will do it? (AA don't) Your experience with them, etc... 2. Security - what brand/model of system is good for this line of work? 3. Finance - will be borrowing a small sum to help with start up cost (around $5000), should I go to the bank? finance company or from work? 4. Bookkeeping - do you do your own books? Is it major work? How many hours will that take you to do them on average? 5. Vehicle - Van or car? Petrol or Diesel? (I've discounted hybrid already as it deliver little savings (if any) over other small (esp. Euro diesel) vehicles) I havn't started the training yet. Although I am sure the company will give me some advise on these, but I would like to find out from someone who's doing it. Thanks all in advance!

Maybe just bad luck that all of them need chaging seeing the car is 14 years old? That said, 3 low beam seems a bit excessive. I hope you are not using high wattage bulbs.

What do you mean by this? Should we brim the tank every time instead of $10/20 at a time? -

Very cool. Much better than the Mini ad (still on Downtown carpark) and X5 ad (taken down already) in downtown Auckland. -
3000 for OEM look or 6500 to match the HID.

Maybe because the diamonds are alraedy there? The whole carbon footprint thing is about creating less in future without looking to the past (pretty much).
-
How about if we fit enough solar panel to cover absolutely everywhere on earth? Would that solve the carbon footprint problem?

They've scrapped WiMax in US, WiFi is nowhere near as useful in a moving car. Mobile internet is a joke in NZ (speed-wise). Who/what is going to feed the browsers here? I doubt it will be available here anytime soon.

What are they still around advertising something that's clearly not working? Isn't that false advertising?

Same here, I got one of those too. Probably due to the fact that it has no moving parts and things back then are more engineered to last than things today.

Same here. Bought the PSOne for GT1, PS2 for the GT3 and I bought the PS3 for the upcoming GT5, and of course the BluRay movies. Just for shiz and giggles, I was playing the original GT1 on PS3, it's like timewrap playing the old Commodore games. That's how far those games has come through over the years..

Did you mean the valet key? It will also has the chip. The difference between this and normal key is that the valet key cannot lock/open the boot and the glove box.
-
Few years ago, I tried to ask Jerry Clayton parts and they had no idea what a X-brace is! Me too has only heard good things about X-brace. I would go for that before strut brace as well.

96 will mean it has a chip inside the key. The only way to go dealer. $110-ish for one without a remote.

Recommended Panelbeaters in Auckland?, Who do you use?
my_e36 replied to steve R's topic in General Discussion
Most likely you can't get off the fine, because if you had follow 2-second rule then you would have plenty of time to slow down and avoid the crash. Basically, when you run into someone from behind, it's always your fault. The only exception is when the car in the front was reversing. -
Yeh I know, but they spend way more milage on-road then off-road. Can't they invent some James Bond style spikes or something like that in a tyre, so you got traction on demand? Like those in 007 - Die Another Day?
-
It look mean, but must be noisy as hell on the road.

Who assessed the damage to be at 6G? Insurance assessor or a panel beater? Me too would go for write off, if you can't get a good job done. It may never drive the same after repair. See if you are allow to swap any after-market bits with stock stuff before they took the car. When they wrote mine off, I was allowed to swap the factory headunit back in before they took the car. -
Yes, I bought the 40GB version recently. Probably quite hard to get the older ones now, you'll need the 20GB (even more rare) or 60GB version to play PS2 games. Even so, not all games are compatible. I am not aware of storing games on HD, perhaps it's for modded consoles? Unless it's some of those downloadable demo from PS3 Store.

Thanks all for the info, I can now eBay-ing for some games. They are a fair bit cheaper. Gotta love the Hi-Def Goodness. Sadly the current gen PS3 can't play PS2 games anymore.
