Hah, saw 4 E30s today. At the Killarny - Greenwood lights. One at each intersection. Nothing to fancy but still, whats the odds. And that doesnt include me, I wasnt in mine. Also seen a lot of very tidy E30s around the last couple of weeks. One tidy Black one, a White, and a Red one that parks down Kahikatea Dr. Good to see they are out & about in force

Put my leather cover on my handbrake (from matt-b the guy in the US) finally arrived - slow mail. Looks f--king good.

Saw a tidy as f--k Black E30 M3 today at Urlich Shops - Hamilton. Was driving past so not 100% sure but looked like BBS rims on it? Rego was COOLM3 - and thats not a lie! First I have seen in person, ever...

Am looking for a FULL SET of the bump strips that go along the sides of the PREfacelift E30s. They are the ones with the chrome strips in them. I need 1 for each door & 1 for each gaurd. I dont care if clips are broken so long as the chrome is intact (prefer not peeling and not faded hardcore) and no cracks in the plastic. EDIT:- I only need the drivers door bump strip now. If you got one lying around, PM me. But I still need below:- Am also VERY keen to buy the chrome metal that goes around the tops of the DOORS (not the roof). If you can remove them without bending or causing damage I want them = 1x per door. These are only on the PFL E30s. I want to buy these in a full set, not seperate items. Thanks.

Thats what I was afraid of. But this one isnt genuine as it was custom made - so I then assume since it was custom made, that it'd been custom made for PFL Coupes? Does that sound about right to you Glenn?

Got bored on Tuesday & Wednesday, so I took one wheel off at a time, and scrubbed the insides of all 4 wheel arches/bays thoroughly. They were all looking black (from the filth), but after a wash they were Blue again - factory colour (huge build up of roadfilth, dirt, rubber from skids, grease, alsorts of crap etc). Then once all 4 were nice and clean I painted the front arches/bays Gloss Black. May paint the rear Gloss Black too, but passenger rear arch needs another quick scrub cos some rubber wouldnt come off...

And OP, no those A/M lights are fully legal. They all comply with the standards. Cos the lights still light up properly, where black tint spray dulls it. I'd rather spend $300 on the taillights rather than a Pinksticker or a Fine from a cop.

Oh bugger. I just saw the '88 Coupe part (no PFL in your ad). Cos mine is a '88 Sedan (FL). Bugger. Not to keen to pay $100 odd to find out it wont fit. Is there anyone local to Ezra that could fit this to their FL and if it fits, let me now & I'll buy it? Or do you know any FL owners Ezra?

That was a long time to wash it lol Dont spray tint you tails, thats so boyricer. AllRed them (buy clearcote red paint, for glass, from hardware stores) and spray that on them. They then look all red but still flash orange - like this photo below (my tails). Pass all WOFs etc & cops dont know any different. Way better than spray tinting which is illegal. Search on BS as someone made a DIY on how to do allred tails.

That was before I found out how common alot of the parts were so now my prices have dropped way down. I sold a PAIR of my factory front speakers for $10 - only cos they were still good (clear & loud) I just upgraded. So $40 for 2 old speakers that are well over 20years old is way over the hill. Nothing against OP but just need to consider what they are selling etc... with the parts I got left, I am selling cheaper than wreckers do. If OP is offended, they can PM a mod to clean this thread up. As I said, no offence was intended but this is the Net so things can be taken the wrong way.

Hahah. Nah I hardly on here. JUst put a thread with some E30 parts to sell, and then it dissapears (cant find anything even if I search). So I made a new one and just after making this thread, that one is gone too.

My brothers mate has 2 BMWs for sale. They are at his parents farm out by Tamahere. They are as below. E30 318i 4door:- Said engine & gearbox are good. Body not good, roof all rusted same as half the boot lid and most the interior is burnt (eg roof) or rotten eg seats & floor it has no windows. But some interior parts look good just need a clean (eg door trims, center console). Boot trims look ok. Doors & bumpers looked OK, but didnt give it a full look over so unsure about any rust or dents ntc. Should be some good parts here for a donor or someone to part out or rebuild as a race car. Unsure what suspension is like and I think it had 3 alloy bottle caps (and 1 or 2 steel wheels) unsure what tyres are like. He wants $300 firm or its going to the scrap man. CAR IS WHITE. E36 320i Auto:- 4door. Unsure of body or interior condition as I never had a look at it (I only care about E30s lol). Hesunsure if it runs or not. Could be good for donor car or race car project. Price is to be advised when his parents tell him. I think colour was a DARK BLUE or a BLACK. As mentioned, I never looked over it. If anyone has any interest in either cars, PM ME and I will give you his number to arrange veiwing etc. BOTH cars must be trailered as certaining NOT roadworthing to be towed or driven (if started). He isnt keen to part them out as they need to go or scrap man is taking them complete (he has a lot of cars there but this is a BMW forum so prob no interest in the others). But if you bring CASH and offer good $ he may allow you to take some parts instead of the whole car/s (but dont mention that until you go view them).
