  1. Complete with loom and any different parts? Not too sure if the mounts would be the same.
  2. Have you done an engine leakdown test? It may help pin point your problems.
  3. Well, you wouldn't mind giving me your 3.0si then?I'm trying to track down a trimatic mount and shifter/cables etc if anybody can help let me know. Cheers
  4. Does look a bit odd to the educated bmw fans lol
  5. Might do the same. Depends on how this motor is running
  6. They are a good old tank! Yes, that is true sadly. But, at the cost of a 202 I'm not too stressed [xu-1 manifold may help ] The fiber timing gears smash and end up in the sump also, how cute.
  7. I quite like the old holden motors [underpowered etc]. Strong as hell, just hope the timing gear is ok! It's a crazy idea putting this in a classic BMW, but, the car owes me absolutely nothing at the moment, should be $700 including a cert when she is done. Strangely the front sits just as high as it used to, mind you the 202 aren't as heavy as people think.
  8. Quick update, the scngy old 202 went in today. Not too much work left now. Alternator fitted straight on and just wants to move foward 3mm to match the pulleys. No worries fitting in the engine bay. Will fill with oil and wind over on the starter motor soon. Have to make the mounts up and wire it up [too easy =D ] Then I shall be chugging along in a gutless wonder.
  9. I love E12's [obviously] But I would take an E34 over the E28. [Don't like the E28 interior]
  10. Can we include the E12 535I M? If not, I'll go e34
  11. Just start simple, check how much fuel pressure you are getting [Rangi way, take a line off and turn it on =D] and voltages from sensors, air leaks and the SR20 thing
  12. Won't make it there myself sadly. But if you see a yellow mark 2 zephyr running a poorly set up 350 chev and NOS with pipes through the bonnet [offset to the drivers side] make sure you tell yourself, Doug [me!] fixed the left rear gaurd on monday/tuesday and he is the man! Sound like crap too, the guy that owns it is a twat with huge ears.
  13. Nah, he's an elderly chap from carterton. I'll get more pics up of the collection if I can, I'm there Wednesdays and Thurdays
  14. That is a very impressive amount of hp for what it is! Much jealous!
  15. Love it! Wheels are sexy as. Shame it's on stretched rubber....
  16. Cheers. It's a priveledge [sp?] to work on these beauties. Sadly he doesn't have any BMW's. Two E49 Chargers though...yum!The Blue coupe I took many pics of is one of my favourites, 1934 Hudson Terraplane deluxe coupe, the only one in NZ [apart from the other three Hudson coupe bodies he owns] Somebody made a replica of his coupe out of a Hudson sedan, it doesn't look quite right though. The Green 34 Hudson Terraplane sedan has done 658000 miles [not a typo] If my math is correct that's 24 times around the world. The 51 Mercury came from eketahuna and has been restored by somebody prior to me [Garry who organized the Cliffhanger motorcycle runs, RIP Garry] There is huge amounts of history with these cars
  17. He states vtnz are being tossers...why? They are failing a car because of the law and rules....what a twat.
  18. I know of two in palmy and three in wellys.Best thing that can be done to a legacy though. If it blows up it's been rebuilt or treated wrong. But yeah, get a BMW again. Very sexy e30!
  19. My brother just grabbed a 94 e36 320i coupe and low and behold the window motors are shagged [the typical magnet problem] who should I contact about getting new motors and what's involved in changing them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me on 0272346507
  20. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=26256 Consider something like this.
  21. That's reasonably cheap for a 400hp super sedan I'm not liking the colour though, looks poo
