How much? I would do the air box, but, there isn't really any gain........I'll do it tomorrow morning Has just had a full service, I did the oil, box, diff and coolant and have yet to do the brakes. I just have to reset the service light. I don't need to go to BMW for that =PClears? Agreed. Leather? +257000. BBS? I wish. The jap plate holder is rather fail though. Enjoying driving it is easy enough, peppy enough and sits on the road brilliantly with the tech suspension. Not the usual boat esque affair

Thanks dude! I've always wanted a b.d.a escort, as if I will ever get one of them.

1952, side valve 120 miles on her. Small amount of rust in the sills. Reasonable body, and yes the indicators on the roof are a factory Lucas [prince of darkness] item. Completely original unrestored car =P Lovin' it.... Somebody nicked the dizzy cap! Pretty sweet ride don't you think? For a young chap....

More like a strange need for me to ground diag pin 7......

Yeah I hate the Jap plate holder. Clear indicators would be great and the tech kit that is meant to be on it according to the build tag.....Your wheels would suit it too

Some more pictures after a good wash...then it rained grrr. Sorry about the lack of quality. Any suggestions on what to do to her? Not too bad, swapped the Hyundai and $500 their way.

I'm the same. FM3 is by far my favourite to date,I never get sick of an F355 or E36 M3 on the Burg or Fujimi kaido...or any of the tracks to be honest, don't even get me started on the 2.7 RS 911, phap phap phap.Or a sport quattro.....

You have no idea how jealous I am! Looks amazing mate
-
Yum! My e36 could do with that and some m-techness
-
Argh, you need to be closer

I love red. It's fast! At those miles I would be a bit worried about it throwing a wobbly during a nice Sunday spirited jaunt....
-
I expect the door handle trim would be the same?I wish we could have a production class battle with the 10,000 cra production rule. Walkinshaw VE2 vs r35 skyline? Could be interesting, 480kw vs 485hp....100kg difference in weight. A race where manufacturers display proof of how good their production car is. Like the 1930's

I'm in rural wairarapa....If I can get parts through him so can you.
-
How much for front and rear kit? and do you have those little "lip" spoilers for the boot?
-
That would be around 33 seconds wouldn't it? I don't even think my 320i will do that and it has more valves than a V8 super car.

The top fuel are the second most powerful per liter using only a 2v configuration. The most powerful per liter happens to be a 3.5cc two stroke deisel a Rossi 236r21 A top fuel motor is under so much stress it is not possible to run it for that long, the engine components are too heavy. The crank shaft twists up to 20 degrees.... List of the top 5: Model car 2 stroke diesel - Rossi 236R21 3.5cc, 3.45hp, 42,600rpm, 1.0145cc/hp Top fuel dragster V8 supercharged 8194cc, 8000+hp, 8 200rpm, 1.0243cc/hp F1 racing car 1987 turbo - qualifying 1494cc, 1400+hp, 14 000rpm, 1.0671cc/hp F1 racing car 1987 turbo - race trim - Honda 1494cc 1000hp, 13 000rpm, 1.4940cc/hp Honda TT race bike 5cyl [RC163 of 1963] 125cc, 47hp, -----rpm [possibly 24krpm but this is unconfirmed sorry] 2.6596cc/hp Yes, that was the point. Nothing about poppet spring valve actuation or even desmodromic [ducati, pioneered by mercedes in the 30's] is new. Solinoid actuation is reasonably new though.

I can't make an excuse for that. Just aslong as people aren't going to say they need "new" tecnology IRS.I'm not a fan of the cart axle....it's not even there for cost purposes....they have spent hundreds of thousands developing the system.
-
Too true. I love the "technology" debate.... What "new" technology should they use? OHC configurations have been around since 1902 from memory. [WW2 aircraft had fuel injection too on a side note.] Four valves per cylinder were on a production indian in 1908, not the first 4v head either. Independent suspension has been around for many, many years. So, none of the "technology" they "lack" is new really is it? Pointless debate. All that "technology" and who can name the two highest hp per liter motors in the world? I'll give a hint, neither use the wonderful "new" yet 100+ year old technology. But, in my opinion a production class series would be hugely interesting and far cheaper for the entrants.

For when it's time to throw boost at it?
-
Wicked suede! How much did that set you back? I have done my headlining, a and c pillar in black. Looks superb!
-
Hope the head isn't warped mate. pelicanparts.com is a good source for bits and bobs

The word "poo" springs to mind....
-
With regards to the revs raising and dropping have you checked the coolant temp sensor is working? Or the O2 sensor? I've had toyota's go mental like that when the temp sensor is bung or the O2 sensor is bung and even with the wrong intake set up.

That's too true, I usually rely on BNT in masterton, I always get a good deal [trade price] but sometimes it pays to deal with people with some knowledge of the car in question, I get sick of uneducated pre pubescent dimwits
