  1. hard to tell from the besian website but looks like it will, youll just have afew extra seals left
  2. I just used a big screwdriver to lift the valve spring then a magnet to lift out the shim. I got all mine thru Milland.
  3. Oyea sweet. Let me know if you get them.
  4. Havn't thought about tools as of yet...
  5. Hey Dave, I am yet to do vanos, but do have all the bits to do it. when I first got it it was abit noisy when cold but after a full service its nowhere near as bad. But I will be looking at doing it shortly, aswell as the rod bolts just for peace of mind. With the water pump, I wasn't sure either if they're prone to failure, so changed it and the t.stat just to be safe as I didn know when they were last done. As with the front lower arm rear bushes, they are well known for failure, as are the rear trailing arm front bushes so be best to check yours out and would recommend changing them to a powerflex bush or nolethane to stop premature failure and help with handling.
  6. Yea that's pretty ruff that neither of them stopped to help.
  7. Haha cheers. Yea I figured if I've got an M it needs to look the goods to match the go!
  8. Great work Michael, such a tidy and well thought project. Also Lookin forward to a sound clip
  9. Cheers Michael, got sick of looking at them making the car look shabby so now it's almost looking perfect again. Just noticed I didnt get a pic of the rear windows new trim, better put that up later
  10. ^what he said! Looks good man
  11. well I'm almost done with the rear end of this thing. Just need to replace the front diff mount as we had a small issue with it...I was quoted about 80 odd bucks for it but turns out that was an error in the pricing guide and was ment to be about 600!!! the suppliers have said it was their mistake and will let me have it for 320+gst which I guess I'll have to pay since mine is starting to fail. Also need new diff oil then I'm good to go, so hoping for Monday I'll be driving her again!!! heres afew pics of what ive been up to anyway
  12. That seems extremely unreasonable. Unless you were in a school zone where's there's no speed tolerance, but then it should of been 50km zone I would of thought...
  13. Got the last balljoints done tonight and my other bits from Milland arrived today so will hopefully get subframe and front diff mount done so be all ready to start putting back together
  14. Man tintings cheap up there! I'm paying $450 to get the wagon done on Thursday and that's a discounted price too!
  15. So I've been pretty busy not working on this the last two weeks but managed to get some time on Saturday and tonight making up some bits and getting most of the bushings changed. Only have 3 of the balljoints on the rear arms to do and then just waiting for the last bits to arrive from Milland then can do the subframe bushes and get it all back together again and in the car.
  16. Looks more like poor alignment or from hard cornering to me than camber wear. If it were camber wear the surface would have less tread on the inside than the outside of the tyre, not the very outer/side like you have shown.
  17. Yea I've had two of these in the last month, but the txts came from a 4 digit number so bit of a give away.
  18. I had one of these the mighty ke36 corolla! except I had hotwires on mine, same colour and height tho
  19. at this rate you'll be swinging O's by the weekend! nice work
