-
Managed to track one down from a guy in Chch. Thanks for getting back to me though
-
Saw The black e36 touring I've seen around afew times today, but now it's been lowered, fully debadged- no roundels at all, got wheels and the p.plate beemw but still the tidy blonde driving... Hopefully they become or are a member so I can be touring buddys with her. Don't how the missus will feel about that tho

LEDs will use alot less power than a halogen lamp and youl find that most come with a guarantee so If it does blow you can take it back for a replacement
-
Definantly get a good brand named lamp. We usually use osram at work and don't seem to have to many issues. Usually it's a heat issue with halogen lamps, especially downlights when the light and tranny are covered over with batts causes them to over heat and fail. But LEDs are the way to go, they are abit more costly to buy but last a hell of a lot longer and arnt so susceptible to power fluctuations and give of alot less heat

[quote name='L0WBMW' date='Sep 2 2012, 06:40 PM' Haha mate it's no fun when you're spending the money!! I know how you feel, the touring was ment to be a cheap daily, but as usual, sh*t gets outta hand haha

I was thinking of doing the washer trick but thought I should do things right. Or maybe I should do it... Will save me abit of coin...

Your thread is making me want a e30 again... Damn you!
-
After a pair of front strut tops to dial in abit more camber on the front of the touring to bring the wheels in abit. TIA
-
Looks nice as dude, wheels look good too but it's nice to have a change. Got four sets to shuffle between at the mo haha
-
Looks great with both wheels but think I'd go with the style 5s. Didn't take long for you to sort out a manual conversion, best way to have it tho
-
I'm sure antil33t will take if off your hands if you can't find a use for it

Refitted the tourings headlights with newly Frenched highbeams, tidied up wiring after u.s speccing the indicators now come parks, fitted m3 mirrors that I sprayed black (car is white) and think il get them done white when the m kit gets painted, and tried to fit the wide door strips but most clips wouldnt hold so down to the stealer on monday to order new ones as well as the bungs and clips for side skirts
-
I've not long done both cars and managed to get them in without having to break it in three. don't think Haynes manual said to either. Old ones were in three tho...
-
Sheeet man, that's an awesome find! Looks immaculate. Bet you got it for a good price too.
-
Yea I know how you feel, I had both mine taken on my old e30 when I was trying to sell it. Very frustrating
-
Why are they going back to be crushed?

Sweet Anola Gay son!

Looks very tidy and great in red. Good score
-
Ohyes, good to know I was also planning on renting mine out too haha
-
Looks awesome! Are the flaring tools quite effective? Thought about getting one myself. I just used the handle off my jack the same as yours to give mine an extra tweak haha

I'd try finding a factory 328i exhaust for it. Twin pipes all the way and if you want it abit louder take out the cats and first set of mufflers. Was running my 328i with my new front half hooked into just the rear muffler untill I got my Remus and wasn't much louder than standard. Pretty sure it will bolt straight up to your manifold. May pay to check tho...

Aftermarket E46 black breasts (grills) - what to buy?
euroriffic replied to [email protected]'s topic in Appearance
I brought a black one for the sedan and painted the tourings one as the chrome was stonechiped and starting to peel. Came up pretty good -
People always say won't fit e36 but I'm running 18x8 style 32s at a 20 offset and it's fiiiiine. Fronts are marginally out the guards. Reverse m3 tophats will fix that( anyone wanna sell Me some?) All depends on the look you want really.
