  17. That's a stunning Looking e36 you've scored yourself. 18. If only you were a week earlier. One sold for 90 odd dollars. Even had the M colours stitched on the corner. I was going to buy it but forgot when it ended and missed out
  19. Discovered the drivers side rear door seal has failed with the ton of rain we've had this week and has absolutely soaked the carpet on that side. Pulled drivers seat out, squeezed about 2l of water out the underlay and now have a dehumidifier going in it. God damn it!
  20. My mate was in the exact same scenario afew years ago. Round a tight blind corner lady was on his side, he went right into small ditch and she still hit him. She wouldn't admit liability so went to court and because he was only 17 and she was 40 odd he ended up being blamed for it and having to pay. And again I don't think the cops were called as was only minor damage so no proper investigation was done which would of gotten him out of it I'd say.
  21. If you could that would be awesome! Il pm you details
  22. I'm sure all you e36 owners, and probably other models that have these locking boxes have had them fail at some point resulting in non locking/unlocking doors or sometimes unable to unlock a door altogether. I've done three in the sedan and not long replaced the two rear door ones on the touring, one twice as the replacement didn't work either and now the other one has failed already aswell as the passengers door one and you all know how much of an arse they are to replace! Best method I found was to drop the lock/ latch mechanism down and use that hole to push new one on instead of removing window and rail and outer handle as Haynes manual shows. Bit of fiddling around but saves pulling the whole door apart Anyway! I don't what to be having to do this over again with second hand parts to have them fail again, nor do I want to pay 100 odd dollars for new ones. I've had a look at an old one which just seems like the motor has burnt out. If that's the case that's an easy fix since it's just a wee tamiya car style motor so cheap as to replace. Has anyone else had ago at repairing them with a good result or is more the plastic drive gears that fail in them? Your thoughts and comments on this are greatly appreciated
  23. If I knew you were going there I would of got you to pick my skirt up
