in other news, I took apart my door card, I don't know why but my drivers door is not opening from the outside, nor does the keyhole turn (damaged or screwed up, will take it to the lock smith tomorrow and see if fixing the lock will maybe fix the door latch, anybody have experience why the latch wont grab and open the door even though its the door is unlocked and can be unlocked from the inside? its as if something dropped or jammed? could it be due to the bad key hole? will have the key holes plugged once this problem is solved. I HATE people like this, every stupid kid with a screw driver things he can steal a car, take something that's not his, that some other guy put his blood and sweat on. tonight is day/night 2, nobody turned up. I dont think they will, I would poke holes in them with the screw driver if I ever find these pricks caused me hundreds of bucks worth damage for nothing.

still doesn't make up for it, unless the people mover has a bmw badge or a m/// logo you are also a clown, like most people in people movers. but these are things you can change, old car dealership and the orphanage is the way to go these days my friend, there is no excuse for your lack of respect for me and my car I mean for us...even though you said you park away from everyone it makes no difference, you are still doing us wrong. I just don't know how, just dont know....

you know now that I think about it? I think at night its better we park close to other cars in a well lit area, all this time I was used to parking in lone car parks away in the shadows that you cant even make out there is a car there, big mistake. we need to find a perfect balance between the two, so its either the disabled parking spot or right in front of the bar/club/shop specially in a 1 way street. stupid ideas I have been getting since my car got messed with, every kid with a screw driver these days thinks they can steal a car, the damage I got from parking in lone space (or was it at home I still cant make out) is far worse then a small airbrush job if somebody did nick it. having key tumblers made, taken out fixed, new handles, and not to mention sloppy door card plastics breaking, just doesn't make it worth it. I hate it when people have little respect for other peoples property, we work hard to buy, make and build things, making things our own until some punk kid wants to come along and wants to take it for free for whatever problems he has, its this mentality, same goes for soccer mom types in parking lots, bogans hitting their doors, their trolleys, its also due to how some people park without consideration. / just fed up from spending half the night in my car and half of it on my couch or patrolling the roads with a stick having no thief turning up to steal anything.

really? is that how you bribe them in the big cities? up here they all just come up to the bar on fridays to ask for handouts. cops are people like us man, they aren't getting fat on their own. sometimes you need to help them for them to help you.

this is what I do. park far far far away, the other day this retard was backing into my car and so many times they do this unless I honk my horn, every time I get out I try not to hit anybody else s car with my doors, reason why I like car parks that are like / / / / / / instead of the ones like | | | | |. Easier to get in and out for all parties. what I would give to drag people like that and ......

I drove it home, we had no problem opening the doors, it was done at night, in my house, not in the lot. the pricks are targeting our neighborhood. should I strip the door cards out before taking it to the locksmiths? how does it work?

i thought about that, and it hit me, it wasn't in the parking lot, it was while parked in my driveway after I came home last night, I was uptill 5am but never noticed anybody or any noise! ! talked to some neighbours and these scumbags have been coming and screwing with some of our cars at night, they saw these dogs have been pulling up on our little oneway block to check out cars, but then quickly pull out as soon as they see somebody.

last night I returned home after having a good night with friends at the bar, I drove it home and woke up this morning (midday) to find out my cars door handle and keyholes were all messed up by some some stupid scum bag. the key wont enter or turn at all from the drivers side, they even messed up my passenger side although its operable. I'm having to go in through the passenger side every time and then open my drivers door. funny thing I originally thought it was at the car park but that was not the case, it was IN MY HOME! These pricks have been driving around and pulling up next to houses to check our cars, made a report to the police but will keep an eye out now. Going to the locksmiths on monday, anybody got some easy/helpful tips on the repair, and how deep to I have to reach in my pockets, called the lock smiths up and the guy was being a superficial funny man. But thats where most of my neighbors get their work done so going there anyway. should I stip the door cards out?

its okay, if you didn't notice its selling point is that you can like make the fuel at home by rotting potatoes in water and oil or something, so its totally worth it.

Exactly why we need to get back to topic... SMG SMG SMG!!!! Trust me you guys just have to drive one for an hour on northland roads. SMG + M3 + Lone Northland Roads = You can replace sex with it (at least for a wee while till your gas runs out)

why does it "need" a new exhaust? is the old one bad/rusted? if you just "want" better sounding exhaust, how about you get a budget resonator to replace the cat or just straight pipes and weld on a remus box? I think they have some cheaper universal ones, just go take the muffler to an exhaust shop.

nice. yea it really screems agressive! lol, but the rears will complete it. But my front ones are custom and are really solid & durable, not the ebay replicas or velocity stuff either, I mean REALLY durable that can take a beating, made of 1/3" ABS plastic, can be molded, and bent to certain degree. I scrape mine all the time. let me know if anybody wants some, will come in a 6' piece or precut. will post pics of rear when rear is done.

looking for some good 3d print shops, the cad is not done 100%, and its not flush so needs some more thicking and a grove to be cut to make it look all oem. should have them by the end of this month though. take the fronts, I have a few, make me an offer and I will send them, the fronts and rears go together to change the whole mtec look of our cars. something new, nice and different.

I can do $100 for the front ones shipped. can fit both mtech or non mtec rear ones still are not complete, but were made for mtec only, maybe in the future we can have something non mtec. but problem with that will arise is making it look as good and flush.

go on trademe, you can grab the sensors from milland brand new for around $150 or so.. I replaced the crank shaft sensor and the cam shaft sensor. then also the sparkies and everything. but those two sensors are the major source of these issues, at least in my case and from what I gather from online, get it scanned and then buy the sensors and install them yourself, pretty easy, 1hr job at tops on a 4 cyl 316i/318i second hand ones can be had for around $60 from trademe, ask ray @hell bm. what happens is the sensors age and get heat up and eventually cant hold up, specially when the car has come to a slow stop = more heat inside engine bay.

hehe..I haven't cleaned my car or the wheels yet, Steve mentioned the same issue with wheels getting dirty too fast, so he suggested to go with Gloss white that way they look and stay cleaner and you dont clean them too often, I had the option of going matte/satin white for half the cost but it would had lookd bad too fast so went with these. hey dave, yea I forgot to mention that I upgraded the front brakes & rotors too. Did the brake duct mod, I cut a small flap that directs air up and then used 2 zip ties with a holes drilled to each side on and of the flaps to keep it in place. will take photos when I replace my bumper carrier.
