Staged wet systems can deliver up to 3000hp on pro drag racing applications .. That is an extreme example.

Depending on the application .. Nitrous can be a good modification. Of course if the funds allowed we would all use mods which were permanent .. but if I was given a budget to exact the most power per dollar .. nitrous would be right up there. Dry shot of 50hp gain just plumb lines. If the driver only needs power on occasion only .. why not? Trying to get 50hp power gain from a 2.5l n/a engine is very expensive. The only other option would be forced induction but with tuning and the need for custom fabrication .. it really is a large investment especially if your driving style is largely commuting or daily driving. Nitrous dry injection is simple and relatively safe. Even moving to a wet shot system is not that much more trouble and then your power gains can be even more. The concept is great. More oxygen, expansion of liquid to gas increases air density and lowers intake temps to below atmo.. Disregard the stereotypes .. Its a great choice for some .. personally having another 50hp on tap would be heaps of fun but with my driving style it would not suit me I'd end up at where ever you fill those tanks up constantly

have the foam bit in place all good, haven't looked any lower than that! just hoping this isnt an indication that i need any sort of trans oil cooling or something.

Haha awesome video. They stickered your name on a car? That's cool.

i heard some hawk pads (not sure which ones) are specifically for race/track use due to their ceramic composition ... which as we all have heard from multiple reviewers etc, ceramic composition brake components need heat to be effective ..

reverse rally driving!

seems like i am in the ballpark .. i will check out if the oil cooler is blocked, cheers Kelvin.. and Justin, jealous that you get colder, denser air

right, i am overhauling my cooling system anyway, so hopefully I can replace things and end up with a nominal 100c average running temp. lots of plastic bits and pieces in the cooling system which are best to be replaced with metallic parts or high temp rubber. looking forward to the refresh, along with the suspension bush overhaul and also (if required) an engine refresh ... wont be cheap to replace internals/rings if required .. but want to make sure everything is humming along smoothly

hrmmm when i was with josh and anthony etc out in clevedon, josh was running ~100c on his s50b32 as well .. what is the optimum operating temperature? google seems to think even up to 130c ??!
-
quick question .. after a spirited drive, pushing the car, the gear shifter boot feels warm to the touch. is this normal? Engine bay heat rising through gearbox? Also, anyone else with a s50 which under continued load (track) engine oil temps hit 110c or so? average running temp is 90c and spirited road driving (out in the twisties) 100c. do I need to have a look at my oil cooling system??

should have my cross drilled rotors and pads in soon .. also around 500-600. ceramic low dust brake pads and one piece rotors.

Was an auto gts25 coupe . Swapped r34 neo n/a gear in rb25de and then strapped a t04e to the side. Hsd coilovers, LSD, 5 stud big brakes, race clutch, half cage, exhaust, fuel system, custom charge piping, wasted spark, seats and harness, external gate, z32 AFM and tune etc etc. Road legal and certed ! 220rwkw@9psi .. Needs more fuel but its already a handful due to power delivery and suspension setup and the chassis stiffness in the rear with the cage. When the 25de gives up I'm going 30de too!

Nice! If you haven't already figured out .. When Bluetooth streaming turn the phone volume down to maybe 70%. Full volume sometimes creates a lot of distortion..

Welcome! Yay another e36/r32 owner!!
