  1. Keith at George Stocks should be able to sort you out, you might need to pass him a front and rear spring to match what you're after .. they also are an H&R distributor but may not hold stock of the rarer cars .. I know they have nothing for the e36 m3
  2. logistics are fully taken care of. I give you a price, and that is door to door, no surprises. all tax, customs, duty included. Just link me to the springs you would like (OEM/Sport/Race) and I will provide the total price for the parts to turn up on your doorstep. PM me. Cheers
  3. any issues with captive springs, when it is minor can be easily remedied with keeper springs.
  4. haha have a look, send me a link and maybe the pricing will help your decision?!
  5. haha justin, yeah pass me a link to a USA based supplier and I'll see what I can do .. if you have multiple places which stock your part, send all options, will depend on stock and location etc, but might be able to work something out for you, there is still time left!
  6. did you manage to find a local h&r dealer with springs for your car available locally? what price did they quote you? H&R have various springs, stock OE which is about a 10-15mm drop, sport springs which is 25-30mm drop and increased stiffness and race springs which go as far as a 40-50mm drop and a hard ride.
  7. Thanks for everyone who has ordered and paid .. the order has been submitted and accepted, stock is gathering together, there is some lead times to the full order so we can still get some in-stock items on the same wagon! now just to wait for the ship to sail!! Also I have been able to work logistics with other companies other than UUC so try your luck, quotes are free! (so are dreams! haha)
  8. Okay, well I thought about it consciously while I was driving to work. Yes it still gets in the way a little bit, so I have to shift a little differently than normal, however since it is a daily, i'm happy to live with it. easy enough to flip it back whenever I need to. Ideally it would be good to change the shape slightly, but really .. on the highway its nice to sit in 6th and relax on my nice armrest. it doesnt affect storage space in the centre console and can be lifted out of the way so really .. no disadvantage.
  9. Yeah I could see issues without the short shift kit but with it , it's fine.I guess it also has a lot to do with your I individual height and or technique. Short people would sit lower and it would def get in the way. For track or spirited driving I'd zip tie the mother back
  10. yay arm rest! just needs a clean and some adjustment.
  11. yeah those plated rotors look beautiful .. and the UUC description about the tech involved behind the plated slotted rotors is quite impressive!
  12. I think it is something like 3lbs per corner?? That being said, the additional weight does mean more thermal capacity of the rotors. The split 2 piece floating design is best utilised with aftermarket brake kits where you can replace the outer friction ring separately from the centre hub. means less cost with highly tracked cars where even brembo rotors etc will only last 10-12 track days at the most .. (we are talking real high powered race cars)
  13. haha cheers. Skyline r32 RWD. built it from a gts25 shell over the past 5 years .. can't let go of it! street legal caged racecar. drive it on the road and everyone one wants to race you! takata harnesses, straight thru exhaust, massive i/c, pillar gauges and all the boyracer noises make it something hard to give up from my younger days! so much cheap power on tap!!!
  14. Toast (Connor) is the man! Helped me out with old broken house wiring!
  15. HAMMER HAS BEEN DROPPED! Order has been placed. But there is a final call. Due to getting all the stock together and logistics, I can still add parts to the order for approximately another 14 days (if your part is in stock of course). So ... if anyone had any hesitation thinking I wasn't going ahead with it, you can be assured that a big box is coming this way with a lot of fine goods and its your chance to jump on the wagon! Anything heavy .. brake rotors, springs, etc, you want to pick up now! Example: factory floating OEM rotors will run you $700NZD for a front pair locally One piece plain rotors (generic brand) will run you $330NZD for a front pair locally not including shipping One piece slotted or drilled rotors from UUC will be $370NZD including shipping to your door. Don't get me started on H&R springs .. I talked to various H&R distributors in NZ, it would take 7-8 months to get them shipped from Germany for a M series car just because they don't hold stock. I can get springs into NZ and on your doorstep from $420-$450NZD in 6-8 weeks.
  16. Hart ger. I am friends with his daughter. Also Hartge's brother founded Carlsson .. Mercedes tuning company
  17. your old man has good taste!
  18. I wanted to say cobra!!! Damnit haha. Are they yours??? Beautiful machines!
  19. Could be worn wiring from the siren to whatever is controlling it .. Toasty (Connor) introduced me to this handy electrical tool which pushes a signal through a wire and there's another wand thing which bleeps when it detects the signal along the wire. Using that we were able to track down that one of a strand of copper wire had finally given up the ghost to corrosion randomly over time and easy fix after that!
