I guess it's all in the marketing. I've seen other SE's either not sell or go for much less, in those cases though the seller (and therefore probably most buyers) didn't actually know they had an SE! For 10k though you may as well have stepped up to an m325i...

There's normally a mention of it on the option list (edition zv iirc), also there is no shadow line on the options list.It could be different for a UK car though. (Something done by a dealer maybe)?
