  1. Have a look here:http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/45833-andys-calypsot-e30-convertible/ Re Andy's price I think this is a case of anythings for sale at the right price. As the above thread will show you the work Andy has put into his car Why not buy a 'base' 325i (which based on your description is what Andy's is) for less than $10k and build yourself a 327i or do a 24v swap and get yourself a really sorted e30 for $20k. $20k well spent will pay for an e30 and a lot of upgrades, maintenence and most other things you can think of (genuine 3pc BBS, respray, engine swaps/work, suspension, etc)
  2. The thing that seems to be forgotten is that all of the 325i's have basically the same running gear (maybe an LSD or close ratio box?) So a "base" 325i will preform the same as a 325is/325i sport. Of course an m3 isn't a kids car, its a $50k car... I also agree with the comments about price vs condition, also who puts reps on a $15k car?
  3. Added a price, please tell me if i'm mad...

  5. Pretty sure any m coupes will be more expensive than 95% of e30s.This might sound harsh but have you done any research Or just gone straight to a forum without even a brief glance at trademe (heck, even ebay)?
  6. It only requires 1 right person to make the sale though

I know there was one that went for a swim recently...
  13. That looks fantastic (and that's why I bought style 4s). I did read about the shocks. What tires did you use?
  14. Does the gearbox have a removable bell housing?
  15. I'm putting style 4s on my e28, 16x8 et20 I believe. And they are supposed to just fit with careful tire choice.
  16. Cleaned the reverse lights Before: After:
  17. it could have been worse (e.g. finding out they are not a girl...)
  18. Got an e38 to sell on behalf. Rocking a set of 18" style 32s These photos are pre-clean.
  19. I assume I would need a cert for that though? (or is this a case of what they don't know doesn't hurt them...) I'll be keeping the m30 box until I get a replacement so I at least have some kind of manual transmission.
  20. Hi everyone The Getrag 260 that came with my car has the wrong bellhousing on it (m30 instead of m20), so I am looking to buy either a: Getrag 260 Getrag 265 Getrag 240 Getrag 245 ZF S5-16 All with either an m20 bellhousing or removable bellhousing and either the holes for the sensors or the ability to have the holes added. Also a matching driveshaft and shift linkage would be good too. EDIT: and the cross member Thanks
  21. Probably, the guy I bought it off was in Wellington. Still also looking for a gearbox and shift linkage
