    FS 96 318is

318is auto, the car is not running and unsure if it is engine or trans. The car was sold to my Nephew and it is in Napier hence why I can't be sure as I am in Wellington. Rego on hold. Has Sport seats and an average interior although the seats are ok. Wheels are BBS I was told and are 16's. $500.
  4. Just got my 3o day cable, works fine but what a wait!
  5. For sale M54 crank, Rods and Pistons for M54 B30. Nice way to stroke an M50 or M52 for more power and torque(Crank and pistons will drop into any 84mm bore M50 or 52, 325i, 328i 323i and five and seven series equivalents). Main and rod journals are good with no scoring, pistons still have some of the original anti friction coating on them. All in all very good condition. Car had done approx 125kms. $550
  6. I often wanted to convert my E36 to manual but the cost and the desire for an E46 stopped me. Sad fact is the price of a conversion is due to the old supply and demand factor. High demand low supply; sellers market. If the Japs actually drove manuals then perhaps that would be different.
  7. I drove a E36 in the states that had a 5.7LS motor in it and it was badged 357i. You didn't really notice it unless you looked for it, but the exhaust rumble and the stonking acceleration soon gave the game away.
  8. You can fit the M3 arms I know up front they give more camber, pretty sure the rear is the same.
  9. No good Brad he is in AKL.
  10. Alos I want to replace my vacuum tubing with silicone tubing but BMW use 3.5mm tubing and I can only get 3mm or 4mm. Any thoughts here?
  11. Guys I am looking to replace my charge pipe. I got one of the Phoenix racing ones but its junk and wont actually fit. What options are there that fit RHD cars. I like the look of the Cobb pipe.
  12. I may know a buyer for the accord. Pm me details
  13. Ok its time to get serious about selling the 330ci. I have to admit I am fond of the car and with my 335i being a bit unreliable I have continued to use it but now its time to sell it. Some of you know the history but heres whats been done. Has Ohlins Road and Track Suspension, $4000 new! (Certed). Eibach HD sway bars, and strut brace. Wheels are 7.5 front with 225/45/17 Pirelli P Zero Nero's 4mm tread. Rears are Bridgestone Potenza Re003 245/40/17 7mm tread. KMS 193k. This is a very good handling E46, just ask Olaf. The common faults have been addressed. Vanos rebuilt with Besian kit. Vanos oil feed line replaced. PCV System including hoses completely replaced. Rocker Cover gasket replaced. Oil Level Sensor replaced. Idle air control Valve serviced. DISA Valve rebuilt Alternator replaced. New Water Pump and hoses. Front Control arm bushes (Poly) Rear Control arm bushes (Poly) Strut tower reinforcement plates. Rear Shock reinforcement plates. Transmission serviced, flushed and new filter. Hawk performance brake pads. Slotted and dimpled rotors (Near new) Braided brake lines. New Radiator overflow bottle and sensor. Aircon regassed. Warrant til September and Rego to July. M Sport Steering wheel, Sony Bluetooth Head Unit, Wood Interior trim replaced with Silver/Alloy (Armrests not done but replacement silver arm rests supplied and you can have the wood as well). Serviced only 3 months ago. Synthetic 5w/40 and new filter. A lot of M54's I have driven feel slack in the mid range this is like because of the DISA and the VANOS being stuffed, this one has great torque to go with the strong top end power. Faults: The clock spring in the steering column can click sometimes when turning the wheel. The sunroof interior blind is missing this does not affect the operation or waterproofness but you can always see through it. It is tinted though so no problems. The car has a few small scratches There maybe better looking 330cis out there but this is one you can own without having to spend money on it. The interior is clean no rips or tears and did I say it handles well, yes it really handles like a BMW should. So Special Bimmersport price is $5500 that's my bottom dollar.
  14. Yeah fair enough but they are not that bad and being in Auckland you might not notice it when you're stuck in a traffic jam
  15. Or buy my one because all of that is done.
  16. Just drive them until they are worn then replace.
  17. Didn't do anything Per se, but I set the rebound on my Konis before I installed them and ordered silicone vacuum hose and new waste gate control solenoids for the 335i. Oh and I took my M3 control arms out and oogled at them, waiting for a dry day in Wellington so I can fit them.
  18. Big coin and I think the poo brown interior is a love hate proposition.
  19. 10 seconds from the bedroom to the home office, 15 seconds if I stop to pat the dog.
  20. FCP euro had boost Solenoids for $82 USD, I might just buy two.
  21. My cable for MHD should be here soon so I can read the codes. I would have thought the mechanic would be able to do that.
