I've had this fun before, Open boot, Connect 12v to boot light in correct polarity, open drivers door. Bingo!

Replace the drivers door actuator(complete lock/latch unit) This will fix the problem.

Hey dude, Easy one to fix, Had this problem in my e36 328i, Rattle noise, stopped as soon as you applied light pressure to brakes, turned out to be the pad moving in the caliper carrier. They were Firepower brake pads, Cheap nasty Sh**. Replaced them with TRW and noise is gone XD This could almost be the cheapest fix ever on a BMW hahah

Go for Glenn, Had to ask for advise about a week ago, Fantastic, I ended up buying a ball joint tool by the way glen. Oh and also have a look at my post in Peformance RE e30 Race car
