After PATSY in Black Euro. -
Thats near on normal for a Jatco. My first BMW (1996 BMW 320i M-SPORT) used to do the exact thing. A neck breaking 1-2 change when cold then sweet one warm. Was a jap import with a Jatco. The vehicle had done 260,000 when i purchased it and nearly 300 when I sold it. I bumped into the guy i sold it to some 6 years ago. Has cracked the 400k mark and its still the same. Never failed. I would not personally worry about it in a vehicle of that age...... There is a sticker on the side of the Box that will confirm the brand. (sometimes they are covered in gunk) Hope this helps.

Totally my mistake. It was late I had a C36.

I got passed by one on the way to Taupo once. The noise they make is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!! I would buy one just on that basis

What year are you talking about? I had a 1996 for a while..... Had just had the Wiring Loom replaced prior to my purchase. Was a Kiwi New one also.

Yup. That was the one. I got top doller for it in the end. Was just what the guy was after.

Robinsons Instruments in Auckland. Good bunch.

I had a Techart Boxster for some time. Very Very reliable. Fast. (Napier to Rotorua in 1HR 25 Min) Over kill on the brakes. Very Very surefooted. They are designed to sit at high speeds for a very long time, and for hard braking and cornering etc. Great on fuel, Under 9L per 100KM. I upgraded to a '03 C4S and I actually preferred the Boxster to drive in alot of ways. Heaps of storage space, i'm 6ft3 and i found the interior plenty big enough. Everyone has a Z4. Buy a Porsche!
