  1. Yeah agreed. The only thing these cars are good for are later on donating their engines to someone like us when some posh wanker stacks it.
  2. The more high tech the easier to steal? I guess you havent heard of EWS?
  3. Not that hes likely to blow it up with the mind blowing torque of the 328.
  4. new meaning to fracture split rods
  5. Save money, get the falkens, get a wof? Would be less mucking around?
  6. Good stuff. Im just waiiiiiting for my MLS to let go.
  7. Spent all that money on wheels and cant get some tyres that fit properly?
  8. If you're not happy don't buy them. Yeah you won the auction, but people back out all the time. Worst thing that will happen is you get a bad feedback.
  9. Um so you're going to use someone else's tyres / wheels to get a WOF then put your old ones back on that failed?

Yes you can swap between medium cases but as said before the 750 will be large case
  11. Wouldn't use cheap ezy outs, start to run out of options once you snap the ezy out
  12. i have r888 in that size on my e30. unsure of offset, but i needed a 12mm spacer in the front for the wheel to clear the strut (coilover) and roll the guards front and back. I think the wheels would be around +15 ~ +20
  13. Awesome work on the manifold. I spent days on mine then decided to scrap it and sent the car to sinco to have it built.
  14. Megasquirt should be able to run basic on/off vanos. I would use standard fpr unless running a huge fuel system. I'm at 362hp
  15. Someone needs to turn the boost up on it and retune it.

What oil cooler are you using josh? I keep coming across Chinese sh*t, I see cardwells have some decent ones but there must be more than that out there..
  17. The nv valves are heavier and stems take up more room in your ports
  18. I believe that generally the intake would have more lift. No idea why the exhaust valves floated before the intake, but I noticed the same happened on my bike when it over revved, exhaust valves floated before intake - and it was only the ones on the rear cylinders (V4) which are known to run hotter then the front. So maybe its related to temperature / valve springs becoming softer with heat.
  19. Ah OK, was just wondering if it had crapped out or if these things just don't last that long anymore
  20. 106k and it already needed a starter motor?
  21. A friend over revved his m52 (9000+rpm) and it bent all the exhaust valves.. Intake were fine.
  22. Really depends on what you're wanting out of it
