Ok I haven't read the law. But what happens if the previous owner doesn't pay the rego from before you bought the car? Can you still put rego on it, or do you have to wait for them to bring it up to date first?

I used to give people an opportunity to pass but hardly anyone would actually pass, so I dont bother now unless it's a bike. I think a lot of tailgaters just do it because that is how they drive - not because they are trying to hurry someone along. I get f**ked off at slow drivers as well, but tailgating doesn't get you anywhere and it's dangerous.

If im doing 105 - 110kph and someone is tail gating me they can f**k right off. I dont care if they are late to their meeting or what ever they should manage their time better.

This all seems to be about double lanes, what about tail gaters on single lane roads?

I think some people just do it because that's how they drive. I've been passenger with some people and that's just how close they follow.

I can't understand why someone would want to brake test someone and potentially cause an accident and write off your own car over some thing so trivial.

He has put box flares on it like the m3 so can fit much larger tyres, he does not seem to have that many issues with traction and runs similar 1/4 miles times as the HPF cars.

105 in an e30 is prob less than 100kph anyway. In my e30 I sat on 110 all the time and never got ticketed / pulled over, standard wheels / tyres.
