Looks like it could be Royalblau metallic, aka Royal Blue... or a custom job.
-
Bought some stealth bulbs to hopefully remove the egg-yolk front indicators today.
-
Hi Car looks great. Just wondering who you had do your suede dash?
-
I used to (maybe still do) not like amber indicators and lights. Thought it made cars look old and cheap. But saw some lights for peanuts so bought them. Too busy to fit at the moment with exams next week but "coming soon..." hehe

There was a guy who's M3 engine blew up, in general section - may be interested in yours.
-
Thanks Nikita, no doubt some good reading in there!
-
Hi everyone Not sure if anyones a boarder but the season is upon us and I need some car parts! Here's the link. Reserve is $400. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...851&ed=true

Two suggestions: a) Sensor against the windshield behind the rear-view mirror may have fallen B.) There are different speed settings on a "sliding dial" on the windscreen stalk

I agree, although, I've always loved vibrant colours. But I my Estoril. Not sure what wheels it sits on but can't imagine there are many LSBs in Auckland.
-
There's a Laguna Seca blue (LSB) one rolling around Auckland for the past few years. Quite like the colour:

On the GK? I was going to buy an alcantara boot for $55USD then found that I can get a custom colour combo one + handbrake boot for $67.50 landed in NZ! www.shiftstyle.com

Good to hear that people have had good experiences with them.
-
Thought I saw $10k+ in the engine rebuild after VANOS explosion thread a month or two back. Anyone else had experience with the dealer? VERY pushy.

Just updating the original post with some amendments to the mod list now that we're a week on. This has just moved into the list and near the top. http://www.storm-motorwerks.com/interior/bmw/shift_knobs_v1/

Thanks for the kind words Mpulsive, if you're around on the weekend I'll be at the meet + cruise to Puhoi. Cheers for the recommendation. Seems like a damn good price.
-
Ah right, Yeah mine's definitely in need of cut+polish still
-
Thanks Just a note, that's not mine on the LMs 1 post above in case you were referring to that

Do like though... NOT MY CAR

Mate, such a kind offer! Wish I could honestly justify spending $ on wheels but I'd be in the dog house, even with a set of $500 second hands lol. After July I can buy whatever I want though, it's just I've got a "work/holiday" trip with the girlfriend to the US which I need to finish funding When I'm back some Apex wheels on the cards!
-
but the wallet doesn't Some OEM CSL wheels would be lurvely.
-
It's not common but exists. Kyu, you have PM on its way.
-
Lol me too. Will get there eventually Daily driving wreaks havoc on shiny. Hence why I took about 100 photos haha. Unfortunately really needs a cut and polish. Looks like it's had the old broom treatment I also need to buy some bug and tar remover ... Where'd you get it? Let me know how you get on ---- Quite keen on some BBS wheels (18"x8") on TM but think they'll be too narrow. Guess I'll just save more and get some Apex in the sizing I want... Aggressive

Had a few hours spare today and with the dry weather decided to give the Tech 2.0 wax a try. Gave it a wash with Mother's Gold, clay bar, another wash with MG, and then applied wax and buffed by hand. Came out very lustrous! Hope you likes I'm a Tech 2.0 Meguiars convert.

If anything, the learning curve will make it worthwhile
