  1. What headers did you go with?
  2. Could be a damn useful sticky if it's kept up to date.
  3. This is a review of my experiences using the company 'Shift Style'. I have not received my products yet so will not comment on them yet but will be sure to update when I receive them... Something I wasn't expecting for a couple of reasons (Read on ) My order was initially placed on 6/6/13 using their website and their credit card facilitator. I ordered a black leather shift + e-brake boot with colour matched (to my seats) stitching. Here is a note included in their automated reply email. After 2 days I had still not seen any deduction of funds from my account. In fact, there wasn't even a pending outgoing (something that usually happens with overseas purchases on my card) They have absolutely no means to contact them listed on their website other than the 'Contact Us' email page. There is no phone number, not even an address - I have no idea where in the world they are (assuming USA). In between placing my order and 10/6/13 I sent 2 or 3 emails asking for progress on my order as they had my credit card details, along with an order status saying "Pending". Come 10/6/13 there had still been no deduction from my account, no contact from them, so I emailed them this: I assumed this was the end of it, and that they wouldn't be charging my account and went on the purchase a shift boot locally to install with my Storm knob when it arrives.Well, surprise surprise! I get contact ON THE 19TH OF JUNE.. This is 9 DAYS after I write to cancel my order, and 13 DAYS after placing the order. Their order confirmation specified a typical 48 hour production time, and 10 days max shipping (12 days) Shift Style had the audacity to REPLY to my cancellation email, 9 days later with: Maybe other people have had better experiences than me but I've read about similar experiences on other boards. I hear good things about Topgaiters on eBay! Will update when I receive the items.
  4. What wheels are they, Yongxi? Apex?
  5. I had the windscreen replaced in the last year by Smith & Smith, Manukau.
  6. For the sake of potentially helping another group buy (if Andy is up to it, it's been busy for him recently!) could be a tentative set for a friend here. Will confirm if this goes further.
  7. Ah right, got it - Thanks...
  8. Looks good, Yongxi. Nice gains (thanks for Wayne's clarification)
  9. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-603880049.htm Seems pretty cheap, could be a nice buy for somebody
  10. When the photos are on your desktop the simplest way is to go to www.tinypic.com Choose the image you want to upload (one at a time ) and resize it to "Message board' size. Then upload, type in the anti-bot code, copy paste the [.img] tagged link here and when you post it will direct imbed the image into the thread post. Alternatively, you can also look to a photo hosting website such as Photobucket to multi-image upload and get the links faster. Oh, and welcome!
  11. First thing's first; what are you wanting to bring in? Even if it's a private sale it can attract import duties, from memory the threshold is $250 but sometimes things over that slip through, for example I've been charged GST on a $300 purchase but not a $1500 international purchase.
  12. Would be surprised if different car as the spec list is copy-pasted from the original ad. It's also had another 8000kms put onto it. Alex (the dealer selling) probably took it as a trade on one of his other top-end euros.
  13. The company is Mag and Tyre Direct in Auckland. Whether they have them or not is a different story.
  14. Just ordered a 330D Shift lever being sent to family in the UK for the next 2 weeks. $$ savings!
  15. When I had the car I was thinking the same thing, really high consumption. After thinking about it a bit, I was always doing short drives to work/uni from cold so it chewed through the fuel.
  16. How does your insurance deal with track days?
  17. I had that once getting an old (fake) xmas tree out of our storage unit. Thought it was a decoration but mr. rat had made it home and died in there. haha More on topic: Great to see your progress on the car.. The E39 M5s are so awesome, just saw one of the local ones (unfortunately looking a bit neglected)
  18. Rat eh ? That must've made you jump? Reminds me of a guy in Malaysia who had a lizard fall out when he was changing something! Halfway down page Linky
  19. Using a Mac - Seems to have resolved itself now.
  20. Hi guys, I've got a bunch of Motorsport stickers on their way to hopefully refresh the faded old sticker. Lookin for $9.50 each posted Ill update this thread when I have them so you can see how it looks. To suit M badge sticker roughly 30mm x30 mm x 30mm My objective was to replicate the bimmian offering ($20nzd) and it was $50 shipping
  21. Not sure why. Get a screen suggesting the website is down. Works on my phone just fine; tried deleting cookies to no avail. Any suggestions?
