Good to hear of your experiences with Powerbuilt. My initial problem is that the car didn't come with a factory jack.

I'm not hunting a GT3 mate I haven't gotten a quote for the install yet, I meant I had a quote on the coilovers. KW V2 @ $1700NZD in Penrose. I was shocked, so much cheaper than importing! Will be getting when I've got more $ for modding.

Yeah, I realise this, but for my (current) purposes I won't be getting under the car. If that was the case I would be buying one of the better available + jack stands. I guess as the old proverb goes. Buy right, buy once.

Before I found my car, I was following an E39 M5 with a lovely older lady driving it. Saw her park down the road from where I was going so I left my card on her windscreen with a "if you want to sell.." Don't ask don't receive!

Thinking back, awhile ago my mate took me for a drive in his E39 540i. It was such a different animal to the 530i, and the 528i I've also driven a bit. It's quite fascinating, I almost always associated other 5 series as being the same (mentally) due to the same looks even though under the bonnet I knew they were different. Then being in a 540i under some throttle... So much torque!

I need to do a few things though. Sort out some stone chips, a good cut/polish, and get rid of the egg-yolk front indicators. Also, could do with refurbing the wheels (for curb rash) but I'd rather put the money to a set of new ones. Hey mate, na, not yet. Will prob do closer to the Auckland meet. I don't have anywhere undercover to wax it so with this weather I'm inside hehe. Missing my old house, where I could back into the garage, have 2m on either side, central vacuuming, AND drainage so I could wash it in there (if i was careful) Now to vacuum I need a long ass extension cord

Thanks - The water that came out afterwards was black Do one of the half and half cleans first time with the Lux - I saw night and day difference but didn't have the good camera with me I also polished the exhaust tips yesterday They look blue now reflecting off the paintwork hehe
