  1. Yeah not a bad idea just to go for a stock 328i system if its in good condition. I got a M3 mid section for mine. Quite happy with the note it makes.
  2. Hmmm. Well if you want an M3 sort of sound, have 3-1 headers, paired, running dual separate pipes 1.5-2" I would then run an H balancing pipe, then run the tube under the drive shaft, where two small magnaflow cats would be and some some small resonators then have another H pipe, then run the dual tubes out the back to a quality muffler, a Remus or something off the shelf, because they fit nicely and give a good final note. I suppose your stock muffler would work fine though, they are a c chambered design I think, so a little restrictive. Depends what you do with headers but that would be $1500-2000 system, more or less with tube metal type and what bends you use, closer to 1000-1500 if you keep the stock rear muffler.
  3. NOOO This is how it should sound! Plus this a propper revving clip.

    Crazy Japanese

Haha, only in Japan! Quite amusing.
  5. God I hate those. I normal HSV's are tacky enough but the Pontiac versions go to a new level........
  6. Welcome. You have chosen the right car!
  7. Hmmm my favorite BBS' those. Perfect.
  8. It's often nice just to go for a drive for the sake of it.......not to break the law or do anything reckless, but to drop what it maybe you're doing if it's a nice day and take a few hours driving out of the city for the sake of it. I've found the BMWs have been the first cars I've been able to do that in, even in a somewhat slow 325i it's still enjoyable (especially after driving half a dozen early dull Lexus' for the past 3 years *yawn*) A few weeks back I went out around to Thames on two different days, totaled about 500ks, it was really rather enjoyable. However the M50B25 sure does drink the fuel, not that I care of course.
  9. ^^^ That should look good when finished Tristan Ahhh a wire fracture... I've also heard dirty contacts can be to blame, that was the case with my E34s rear tail bulbs.
  10. Hmmm the old LIC plate light message. Mine used to do that all the time. So annoying, how did you fix it in the end?
  11. Ah good it finally sold. Seemed like a good buy, but I think many steered clear because its' a 1992, as apposed to a 1996, 7 or 8...
  12. Hmm yeah, I forget it is a $500++ spend, depending on where you get one second hand or go for a cheaper replica one.. I suppose the extra cost comes to get them painted and also get the right brackets/mounts etc. If something is really broken on your current one and the stock clips wont work, I'd just drill some holes (where they aren't visible) and cable-tie it together for the meantime.
  13. Replace it with an E36 Mtec bumper!
  14. It's in the making All will be shown at the end of the month!! The car should go in December sometime... It should have been done faster than this however. *kicks self*
  15. I need to do this, and get an LCD...
  16. Yeah it would the best, I should really learn to weld and keep practicing, would have an ideal skill base then to do whatever. Since I can't, and don't have the gear, I've been passing on the parts to get welded through a guy I know, it's annoying but he does tidy welds and at a good cost. Slows things down though.......

    Teasers

Small world indeed Shheshhh in Australia now huh, moving up in the world! Good job buying an M3 too, must be a fantastic drive..... Estoril Blue is it? For the tyres, I would go 225F and 245R.
  18. Finished designing the baffled sump. Now to make it next week.

    Teasers

Hmmm yeah they come at a price the real deal. Maybe, I'm Michael XXXX, we used to attend the same Primary, and also Intermediate (I think?)
  20. There are many places it can leak from. Usually the most annoying place is the rear main seal, between the block and gearbox, so quite involved to replace it.

    Teasers

HA, Hmmm Ethan C, as in Ethan Court?
  22. I like those to an extent, but the front end puts me off. My uncle had one up until recently, it went well.
