I miss this car...
-
It makes me cringe how close that sump is to the ground
-
Team McMillan or Jerry Clayton's??
-
Relays arent uncommon to fail.
-
Those have been recovered definitely.... the velour door cards give it away and also the uphostrey on BMW seats isnt on the back all the way to the bottom, they have a plastic panel.

I Like this...... I reckon my E65 still looks good today! -
Hey mate, Im really after the cash to be honest. Cheers.

Trust me, ratings and reality is very different!! I can speak from experience in this case.

I understand that, i run Pirelli Pzero's on my own car. It wasnt bucketing down just light rain. Running BMWs recommeded pressure. I wasnt expecting the world from them, I drive new BMWs every day with Pirelli Michelin, Dunlop etc and know what tyres can do, and realise these are cheap tyres but they really were s***.... I took them off this morning and replaced them with Pirelli Pzero Runflats, Problem sorted. Cheers.

I just put a set of 4 Altenzo Sports Comforter tyres on my work wagon (E91 320d Touring) Is it just me or are they WAY below par in the wet?? I was coming back from Pauanui on Sunday and my god they were awful!! they just slid on turn in with no grip at all and the DSC was going constantly, this was driving very moderatly aswel! I know they are cheap and nasty, but for the mileage i do and the way i drive it, Its hard to justify expensive tyres especially as the car could be changed tomorrow! The Michelins that i took off with 1mm left were better in the wet! Any body else with this opinion or am I expecting too much from cheap rubbish??

12L/100km easy... between Hamilton and Auckland is around 8l/100km. I personally prefer the pre-facelift E65, This car has had all the common bits fixed and has nothing that needs doing for a long time!

$232,000 in 2002 $17,000 in 2011 Its a bit criminal really!!

We sold one new in 2009. Black with the M6 wheels on it.
-
We replace alot quite a few flywheels. Its more of a measure rather than a repair. Labour isnt that intensive as they're pretty simple.
-
Not adjustable, Hydraulic setup.. Clutch kit is normally around $500 (genuine BMW) Flywheel is around $1,000 All depends what kind you get etc. If you need to get anything give me a PM or an email as I sell parts for BMW.

Wow, nice score for that money. As has been said, take the manifold off and check the swirl flaps, if theres no carbon in the manifold it should be fine. Dont take then out all together, the result isnt worth it. Turbos arent as common as people make out and overall they are reliable. if its been serviced well and had the oil seperator/crankcase breather replaced regularly it should be sweet. Dual mass flywheels are expensive and usually need to be replaced with the clutch if you ever need to. And as said the main things you'll have to sort is the normal E46 stuff. Happy motoring!
