That puncture repair stuff in a can is magic! I got a puncture just outside Te Kuiti at about 10pm at night on the way to New Plymouth in an E60 550i which should have had runflats! got me to New Plymouth and back no worries!

Theres no such thing as a 130d, 123d is the biggest diesel.. awesome car!

thats not really high kms... might have some oil leaks and some rubber bits that need replacing but nothing major got xenon and M sport and its alpine white... what else do you want.

Ive driven heaps and heaps of 1 series... i wouldnt buy a 116 though theyre pretty gutless... the smallest petrol engine you would want would be a 120i, Ideally a diesel would be the way to go, FAR superior power and economy. Once you drive a diesel one you won't want to buy a petrol. Other than that they are a great little car and awesome fun to drive on a windy road!

Depends on opinion... I much prefer the E65/6 over the old square shapes.

The body kit is OE, extremely rare, only a handful in NZ with them on. they were fitted to some of the early imported X5s into NZ. from memory the BMW NZ press car had one back in the day.

maybe you got one with miracle suspension ive driven probably 20 or more e39 tourings with super hard rear suspension, in saying that some ive driven have been fine.

E39 tourings have a rubbish ride generally but are an awesome wagon if you can put up with it. E46 tourings are awesome machines but suffer a little in the space department, even a 318i with an N42 or later engine is great, obviously a 330i is a wicked car, awesome power and handling, almost the perfect car in my opinion. Ive done many many kms in an E39 wagon carting bumpers and the likes around the country (much better than trapsing around the place in a transit van) and they are a great car if you can put up with the hard rear suspension. a 525i M54 or M52TU will be suffice if you like good economy and reasonable pace, but a 530i is MUCH torquier even though only 500cc difference seems like alot more. a 540i is fantastic but generally only NZ new, and quite pricey for equivelant year, spec etc and also dearer to maintain. All depends what you want....

BMW dealers do stock OEM batteries, we sell plenty of them.. about $450 though, but when you think about it if it lasts 14 years its worth it!

The V8s have a different front suspension set up and run different bushes to the 6es

Well, to be honest thats rubbish if they check the spec's properly this wouldnt have happened.

I dont understand if Jeff Grays mucked up the key why you ended up owning it?? usually BMW checks the keys against the chassis number and even if the dealer supplies the wrong part number they will correct it.

where do you find all these E34 tourings??
