Wills was an '87 Tech 1 same as mine, except his had Schnitzers and mine has weaves. Looks tidy.

To clarify, it's just the noise of the window going up and down repeatedly, no strange grinding noises or anything like that, just an electrical whir as it goes up and down. Over and over and over. . . . . . . .
-
Thanks Glenn, will keep that in mind. Assume if I allow $3-400 it should be enough?
-
Had a look at an E36 coupe, the drivers door window drops as it should when the door opens and shuts again, but then at completely random times will open and close repeatedly. Only 5mm or so as it's supposed too, but noisy and annoying. Easy fix? Cheap? Expensive? Cheers.
-
^^^^ Cool, cheers for that, it's for a 328i, just pondering if I want to drive it daily.
-
Just a thought as I have a chance of buying something different. What would it cost for? Motorsport lower front spoiler Rear valance for the same Side skirts (Are motorsport ones different?) Clears all round genuine M3 alloys/Schnitzers/Alpinas Plus springs/shocks to lower All for a coupe. Cheers.
-
I think Euro Italian (sponsor) was cheaper than that.
-
Pretty sure the window seals are ok and it was on an angle, so the water should have run away from this side.

Got in the car this morning, which had been sitting outside over night, pulled the passenger seat seatbelt all the way out (for the baby seat) and found that most of the seatbelt was wet. Not dripping, but def wet. Any ideas on cause/fix? '96 E36 coupe.

I would tend to agree, I thought it was outrageous. May have included the flywheel, the first time they did it it ended up with a terrible vibration and was completely redone at the workshops expense. Maybe they saw him coming.

My brother in law had a '90 911, which is admittedly newer and possibly more expensive to repair, although I doubt it. He replaced the clutch. It WAS $5k. If someone quotes a number, maybe they have an idea.
-
Budget of $5k or so is no X5.
-
I think the X6 has 4 seats. Peugeot and Volvo did some older 7 seaters, otherwise it's pretty much satans' spawn, aka people movers.
-
Great car. Just expensive to fix, like $5k for a clutch.
-
Nice. I've just picked up an S55 AMG Kompressor for 10 days, forgotten how much fun it is.
-
I have one sitting in the garage undriven for 6 months with full Tech 1, 15" weaves and lowered. It's a joy to drive I seem to remember.
-
Another tip, take a parent(s) with you and make sure the judge knows they are there to support you. Works wonders, or did for me.
-
Cheers. learn something new everyday.

Really? How does that make it tidy sitting in the middle of the parcel shelf? For the lap belt?
-
I had a Legacy RS for 9.5 years. The day I decided to keep it another 6 months, it was stolen. Otherwise I might still have it.

Turn up to court neatly dressed, be courteous and prob just a fine, (plead poverty, are you a student?, smaller fine). I think there's a possible loss of licence with careless and definite with dangerous, someone may care to correct me.

Hmmn. I have largeish factory speakers there, with no room for a hole/bolt to be used. There is a black plastic triangle (about 50-75mm) on the shelf, I have no idea what that is for?
-
Perfect, thought there was something somewhere. We used a new born capsule in the front of the E30, it's absolutely fine, just whip the belt through (properly) and you're away. Take it the bolts are under the trm somewhere Hartage?
-
You mean a toddlers fixed seat? I haven't but am curious. Was hoping to find an ISOFIX bolt, but couldn't.
-
I would say no. The seat is much narrower and there are only two belts. Fine if you want big gaps, but otherwise pointless?
