any more clues on whats going on? does any of this sound familiar? any help would be good cause im sure its probably some thing stupid

ill try and explain exactly what it does and where the problem lies if its not in gear i can accelerate fine, no engine missfires, and engine temp is very normal if i launch the car foward at a low speed to quickly it will put its self into a major bunny hop so from second gear i can plant my foot no problems cause im going at a reasonable speed but there seems to be a problem launching the car foward? if that makes anymore sense?

any other ideas before i send it into steve at sherson autos?

i was only trying to light up the wheels trying to see what was up with the engine. a while ago i had a prang into a wall it cut the oil cooler in half and sent the radiator into the fan no major damage. could that be the problem when the car launches foward the fan goes in the the radiator slowing the crank down or some thing ? you got a number i could quickly ring you on ?

hey guys ive taken the bimmer off the road for a bit and its back ive got a 325i e30 not that it will assist. some of you guys might have had this problem. its now back on the road and when i put the foot to the floor, mainly in first it no longer smoothly accelerates. i can smoothly slowly accelerate but if im going 10 - 20 kmh in first gear and put the foot to the floor the car starts doing a major bunny hop you could say or if you try and do a burn out and drop the clutch it will get traction and then bunny hop. have a new fuel filter dont think its the fuel pump since no other gears have this effect dont know why it could be the spark plugs since their fairly new a mate of mine said it sounds like it could be the diff mounts or some thing ? any of you know what im talking bout or can assist ? any thing would be good thanks

gus? do you have the part number for the bearing ? what price did it cost you. im still getting quoted like 200 for the freakn bearing . . . . reakon some one could do a quick write up? i suppose jack it up take wheel off duh is the little center thing removeable ? i cant see a 46mm bolt ? (is it under that ) thats my only problem, just a bit anxious of destroying stuff at the moment

haha just rung up skf and person i talked to quoted me $255 for the hub unit cause aparantly i cant get to the bearing ? lol i just want to replace the BEARING ! and thats aparantly not too difficult ! so where can i get the BEARING and only BEARING from with out them trying to sell me the hub unit ASWELL! What are the measurements of the bearing for a 325i E30 1986 so i can just ask for that sized bearing ? does anyone have an opinion on this ? is some one trying to rip me off

hey guys need to change my front right bearing should i change both front ones at the same time ? where would you guys recommend good bearings at reasonable price ? any numbers to call regarding recommended parts? do i have to replace the whole hub compartment ? reakon you guys could help me out in what parts i need who to ring and so forth any help would be good, sick of paying shops to do something i think i can do the job my self the brake mounting is prooving to be a mission to unbolt oh and ( when u take the tyre off and your looking at the middle or the rotor) is the thing in the middle the dust shield ? can i actually pry that off? could be blonde questions but im a magnet for destroying things

E30 325i 1986 i might just get the measurements for the bearing when i jack it up my self will i need a special tool to get it off ? a press ? or should it be hand removeable how do u replace brushes ? you dont need to replace the whole shock aye ?

Hey guys i need some parts Wof came up and tauranga gets picky dont like stores fixing things, labour is annoying wheel bearings ? best place to get cheap ones? should repco be the place to go? second hand bearings shouldnt be touched ? shock brushes ? good new ones from where? my park light on one of my beams isnt going can i take the back off the headlight and replace bulb? or is it sealed? cant be bothered looking, as its in a garage somewhere any info or people to call would be good?

hey guys just wondering whether you could give me some feed back on this on the look out for a good conditioin E30 shell wanting to go as cheap as we can go, so dont really care about the state of the engine or transmission because i have a good 325i engine, with manual trans at hand what sought of prices would i be looking at ? maybe like a 318 E30 with munted engine and trans that no one really cares about ? i dont know, just throwing ideas round so yeah let me know what you think cheers guys

air flow meter is fine plus are fine lol every thing else is fine what about a computer problem or a base idle thingy ? which almost acts as a choke u could say ? ne one know ne gurus here

starting problem car starts after a few thousand cranks batteries fine when it finally starts, smells really really really rich is this the problem ? its being flooded and wont ignite the car can be warm and still have this problem sound familiar ? ( some times when its cold it starts fine like one crank then spark ) ne suspicions ne solutions to go with those suspicions cheers guys

hey well has any one had leaking problems on an e30 before not that any one is psychic, but wher are some common areas i should be looking for leaks my floor is soaking wet and im not getting the carpet re done or fixed untill i find where the leaks are ? ? where how help ? theres seriously a good 10 litres of water in the car lol the boots fine ive found them but the passenger front and back floors are soaking SOAKING help ?

crap, lol i could have got them when i was up there oh well um yeah im keen for them, u sure theyll fit an e30 prefacelift ? its just that in asking round about lights people have said the numbers on the lights have to match and theres all these other little fiddly stuff as well. Then again they might be alll crap and trying to confuse me. reply on here, or i will ring you soon, because im in course and kinda busy with further car repairs grrr. cheers dude

Hey guys, have a read over this, you may be interested Ive just found an exaust guru, through a mate in tauranga And telling you now, if you want an exaust done, for the CHEAPEST PRICE get it done through this guy, its worth the trip to tauranga. Trust me. The guys called ray, and he works at "exaust and brake". Theres not alot he cant do. And he isnt charging an insane price on the job. ( e.g. pit stop and everyone else quoted 3000, hes quoted a maximum of 720 ) if you interested or would like the number let me know cause im getting the number now, i had a talk to him but forgot to grab his number. Some people may laugh, but the exaust mod im getting when i get round to it. Is, twin pipe to the resonator, then divides into dual twin pipe with some performance mufflers, with some awsome looking tips on the end

Right, Now im not whining but i dropped off a text book at course, ran inside, expired meter, didnt even lock my car. Was 5 minutes at most only to come out with a parking fine on my car. Are they not supposed to mark your tyre and then come back, not just slap a fine on ? Is that a little harsh, i pay my parking fees, i respect authority, and the moment i dont pay 20 cents, for the shortest time ever i get a fine ? I mean 12 dollars aint a big deal of money, but one of those under your wipers is like a lepricon hiding in the bushes, as you walk past it jumps out and kicks you in the A@@ and runs off laughing in its hideous hyena chuckle. my rear windows do not go. a while ago the rear left window did not go, but now it is both of the rear windows. what has happened ? is it most likely the electric window motors ? the wiring, in the doors ? or near the buttons ? help me out if you can. cheers

hey im not selling any thing but its on topic its about insane prices 2 things to cover, after reading a post on colours and prices i sugest before selling your car you paint it a racy colour. ...... cause being red it must be fast .. no matter what the engine ...... or value, so ultimately to the people that dont know stuff ... .tradme..... paint it red and ur sweet other thing ...... if some one offers me 8500 cash for ma 325i . and its not in too happy condition looks wise ..... just cause its "quick" (in their mind) .... i suppose i should take advantage of this tard and sell it ? 325 drivers out here give me a comment ? would you give your car on the spot for an offer of 8000 +, bear in mind , no mods . no mags . geeeeeeese tga people these days, town of oppertunities
