it saz the auto torx bolts wont fit the manual trans ? thats all i was wondering

i think it may have been my mate shaun hes in a face lift 325i, pretty tidy car, gray ish colour always in mac donalds lol oh yeah, the other week my car got impounded, a burn out that many would have been impressed with 3 perfect circles, 1 block covered in smoke, 1 hidden camera, 4 very exstatic cops lol

interesting, yeah i was thinking along the lines of that, i might have a nosy before cutting any thing and try and figure out the wires for reverse lights. what was the deal with the transmission cooler ? did you take the whole thing out? cheers

hey guys, just about to under go my conversion on the e34 whats the deal with the wiring, im told im going to have to wire up the reverse lights ?? what to? will i see it ? and park/ neutral have to be wired together ? Some simple instructions on this will do fine, just providing i have a broad idea. also whats up with the transmission cooler, am i going to get rid of the transmission cooler since im getting rid of the auto trans ? What else would i be removing, Cheers, all help appreciated

heading through taupo yesterday on the way back from ma mission to palmy think it was around lunch, on the monday saw a light sky metallic blue bimma with bimmasport sticker on it (coming into taupo, from rotorua ways or hamz) looked quite cool, beepd and waved like crazy lol (exageration) so who was it hahaha

wont set a date yet, but if we could organise like a trip of atleast 10 people from the various regions, and all meet at the luge, maybe have 10 trips, $100 would cover more than enough including the hurrendous gondellor fee. then all go to the hot pools or some thing ? that the details in a outline, im assuming the best sought of date would be a weekend ??

Hi guys, if the numbers get up there, i would like to organise a meeting, thought i might put it on here first what i was thinking is maybe get all the auckland and waikato/bay of plenty bimmasporters to road trip it down to rotorua and put our driving to the test on the luge, i reakon it would be a great idea to get to know every one, and have a laugh, and hopefully flip a few carts, not causing too much damage?? I was hoping that we could get 30 or more people interested, im not setting a date yet, buy maybe gus bravo or tim could put the word out, but if any one reakons this would be a cool idea post some feedback, let me know if your keen, then we can organise a date for all of us to meet lol i got the idea cause the last time i went to the luge i saw a group of 40 people the were sponsored by jim bean of all things, tearing up the tracks and looked like a hoot! 40 angry people on seriously aerodynamic vehicles hahahaha. Any way i think this trip would be a mean mission, could get some awsome photos of everyones rides on the way down, and some halarious photos of us on the luge to post on bimma sport. so put the word out, post some feed back lata guys

that boot subject gave me an idea to put this topic up as ever since ive owned a bmw, i have been a magnet to car trouble some my fault some not What is the worst sticky situation youve found your self in, on the motor way, in the middle of no where. Or worst chain of events that youve had Coolant pipes bursting, engines blowing up, tanks of oil dissapearing, tyres popping, any thing, you get the idea Ill explain my last 3 months cause its been halarious in a funny way excuse me if its a bit long, but some of you might enjoy reading this since every ones gotta have had some experience of car CRAP! We have a very rough drive way, im driving to drop brother off, and i hear a loud thud on the way up the drive way half way into town and the oil pressure light flickers on every now and then, didnt think much of it, going round a few round abouts, and start to wonder why the car starts drifting in 4th gear and so on. Park up, and go to check it out, turns out the loud thud was me putting a hole in OIL SUMP, and i drove 20 kms with the hole, no damage done guys, the front nd back tyres were covered in oil too !!! So week later, get the sump fixed, by my self, wow, and, driving alone, oil light comes on, turns out a pipe that replaced the oil cooler has almost perished and has once again sprayed oil every where, front tyres again lol. fixed it a day later, and is fine for 3 days, then on the way home, decide to see how fast i can get down a hill, wondering why when i hit 180kmh my speedo and rev limiter go flying up, turn into my road and the oil pressure light comes on again!!! trying to find a safe place to park up, the car isnt making it up a hill, finally i make it up there, turn car off, check it out, sure enough the pipe has come OFF, and has emptied a tank of oil on the underbody of my car, including back tyres ! which explains the speed flying up, and loosing traction up a hill. take the pipe off in the dark, unscrew the hose clamp with a random bit of metal i found on the side of the road. lol (in total i went through about 4 tanks of oil, in the most various of places and situations) week later, i go to purchase my new car, from wellington, what a drive down. answer a cell phone call in taihapi and speed creeps up with out me noticing and get a speeding fine because of it, get down to wellington, rego looks fine, got an outa date wof, standard stuff, driving back to palmy to stay for the night as i live in tga, and we go through a check point, cops check up on the rego, and discover that the reg has expired!! had a false rego sticker in it, so they try and impound my car, i some how wind out of that and pay 450 $ to get my car towed to tga, lucky. since it was going to cost 250 to get it towed back to who i bought it off, (turns out, if he put the rego on hold 2 days before i bought it, it would be all fine, now i have to re vinn it !!!) any way, car arrives at my house, go to park it up, and start walking away from my new car, turn arround and notice a severe ammount of steam exiting the bonnet, yes ... a coolant pipe burst the moment i parked it up. INTEResting . . . . . got a fine on the way home again, while answering a cell phone again !!!!! turns out cops were doing a blitz the weekend i went down, because of numerous young drivers dying in car crashes or some thing. I havent had fines in atleast a year, so thats an odd ammount of cop trouble in 3 days. lol Right, just recently, to end my 3 months of unbelievable events, im waiting for my work mates to finish then i get bored, so i start spinning it up in my drift happy 325, being 3 am tuesday night i wasnt expecting any one would be watching or awake to cause trouble, go to park up, and sure enough sirens arrive with in minutes, . . .. . . . so now my car is impounded, and i have a court case over my "substained loss of traction" turns out where i did the drift, a camera was right beside the road . . . . ill stick to private roads from now on. So ive blabbered on for long enough, but im sure you guys have had plenty of situations, where you stand in unbelief, would love to see what sought of crap you guys have wound your self into, and stuff youve run into thats just made your day if you know what i mean. lol hope youve enjoyed this,

this topic has gone beyond my expectations . . . . . snickers bars, uneaten subway, mother in laws, hahaha halarious, awsome laugh reading this, has made my day, some good ideas though aye, having various coolant hoses, i always seem to be blowing pipes in the middle of no where, i always carry a flat head screw driver since there is a pipe that always falls off, its replaced the oil cooler since i had a prang ealier this year, and i know when its fallen off cause my car almost wipes out cause the tyres are coverd in oil, and the oil pressure light abrasively comes on haha !

im doing a manual conversion to my e34 535i so new cross member? will i need one from just any manual e34 flywheel im going to ask in here, have put a topic in wanted to buy, but havent been sucessfull do i just need a e28 flywheel to suit a m30 motor? any have one ? Pedal box do i just need any old pedal box from a e34 525 manual lets say?? i will get the rest of ray e.g. clutch line, master cylinder, etc\ Cheers, any help ?

im assuming that any manual pedal box from an e34 will do the trick since im converting a auto e34 to manual?? any one got a pedal box ? Also i need a cross member to fit also any parts would be good, cheers

i feel really left behind, i have an unsecured spare tyre, cause i cant be bothered putting it in school work from 3 years back that i never handed in, petrol canister, and yeah, i really must look into tidying my bmw up atm . . . . lol

brent, can you suss out the clutch side of things, since you probably know what ill need, and pedal box also i will pay you for what ever it costs, cause when ever i start talking to people, prices start to hike . . .. could you help out here, oh yeah and if youve got a e28 fly wheel, ill buy that too. let me know what you can sought out, cheers

hah, probably cheaper to drive all the way to auckland just to get a few things fixed, sherson auto is starting to get expensive . . . . its a shame, they were really good for ages
