hey guys wondering if any one knows of places to get good front scoops for e34, i saw a really nice on i think it was conrods 535i manual wouldnt mind one looking like it dont want any thing too fancy, some thing just a bit lower and more bad ass if you know what i mean cheers

i have a manual box for the m30 motor from an e34 and it costed me just below 1400 which i think was very lucky, since it could have easily hiked upto 2000 tracking down all the other parts for the conversion is prooving to be a pain in the butt tho but brents helping me out with that (sorry brent i have been busy will give you a call when work stops calling me in)

since were talking about e34 i desperately need rear windscreen clips that clamp the plastic moulding onto the windscreen who do i talk to ? i really dont want to get them new? Brent have you still got the shifter boot lid ?

thats some serious fast and furious sh*t i like the idea of having a laptop in my car for other use than dvds and games interesting . . . . . how much am i looking at spending ?

so best bet just to get it tuned instead of getting a performance chip? will that do the same trick? but will it be back to stock again e.g. the same tuning 20 years ago. or better ?

hey guys since im doing a engine transplant into my new e30 shells ive been considering upgrading ma ecu where am i going to hunt down a peformance chip for the m20b25 motor does some one have a second hand one, cause i really dont feel like paying a grand what are the options on ecu upgrades on the old e30 325i?

well its definately not that one, when i put my m20 b25 engine in replacing the b20 engine whats changing ? is the engine loom going to be pretty simple? any tips ?

and obviously if it 260, thats getrag 260, 240 getrag 240? how do i know if its any thing special?

I have tracked down another cheap 320i E30 which im using for my shell im putting my 325i motor in it, will be selling engine when i get it out but im asking how do i identify what sought of gear box it is ?? it doesnt appear to have what the auto trans' have one it e.g. no plate with numbers or letters any where so when i do take the trans out what numbers am i looking for? where are they located, and im sure you guys could probably tell me what sought of box that is huh? Next, why it was cheap is cause the dash caught on fire, wires are all there, so how easy is it to rewire the dash? i am prepared for the time involved, any diagrams you guys can point me to? its just a straight swap from my 325 to the 320? any looms need to be changed ??

my pod filter aint mounted, cause its pretty stirdy as it is but that might be a thought, try and secure it a bit more then see what happens, haha might have to come up to auckland and get it fixed tauranga has no clue all the time !

hey guys, i should have stuck with bmws, but sadly im restoring my e30's, to resonable conditions atm so in the mean time i have purchased a toyota levin gt apex, cause ive always had a thing for 4 ages. any how, it only just started doing this, and have no idea what it is, i just put a pod filter on it, and that could have some thing to do with it, but hardly doubt it. Right, so when i turn the air con on, the car looses a lot of power, i dont think this is normal. because it used to run fine with a/c on, but now it feels like it is dragging its sorry ass up a hill. looses all its top end power. Also, when i have a/c on, in idle. there is a serious vibration/noise coming from under the bonet, i have tried to narrow down where it is coming from, and i think its from behind the injectors. some one mentioned some thing to do with pulleys, but i dont know any thing any help ?? how bout from that botanymotorworx guy that never sleeps ? lol

what am i looking for ? grinded down pistons ? i could probably take pictures and put up on here bloody mazdas lol i should just hurry up and get my e34 535 manual on the road,

yeah bro, i suspect engine is fine to be honest maybe valve seals and head gasket. the head gasket had probably been seeping for a long time, and ihaveben outting off replacing it. the coolant is a very rusty brown and there is alot of smoke coming out exaust not sure about steam tho does this just sound like head gasket? or smoke suggests other wise?

a engine has only 1 head gasket aye ? thats what i thought, another mechanic must have mis understood my question the coolant is brown,havent checked coolant when car is running over heats too quick no steam, alot of smoke when running so its obviously burning oil so its just a simple head gasket job? and this low end or high end talk is probably just a misunderstood question?

hey guys the ol mazda of mine, has blown a head gasket, im 90% sure how do i know whether its low end or top end? can some one just confirm that im right about head gasket. there is a lot of smoke when its running (alot!!!) water in coolant is very very brown some times the car doesnt start, so that sounds like water in the engine. over heats easily, especially in idle so with these symptoms can i find out whether its low end or top end ? any help? DIY's are becoming more and more common

hey guys putting my windscreen back in my e34 last resort and gave my bmw dealer a ring over in tauranga to track down some clips, those plastic things that break off when removing it dont know how many i need but i AM NOT IN THE MOOD for purchasing them at 8$ EACH!!! lol can some one give me a number for some one that you deal with up there for this ? maybe even a windscreen company that you all go to that will have them lying round ? pretty please. on another note, i will be posting photos of my e34 535i manual once i get my windscreen in you guys might like any way. any help would be fantastic !!!

if your up rural roads, e.g. me, i found my self stuck for atleast a week because of cracking my sump, we have a hideous driveway. and the time it did crack the sump, you have to hit some thing pretty hard too i think youll be right

amen to that bro same here good ol m20b25, same stuff happend with my drive shaft, it went from a ticking to me almost not being able to change gears with out being hit severly. turns out 3 of the bolts had flown off from all the rattling
