What did he charge you for the conversion?
-
+1 on manual conversion and supercharged for best money spent and even stroke it like E30-323ti said Id definitely want to keep the R&P steering. If you want a V8 you might as well just wait till ones comes up Not a fan at all of foreign engines myself.

It truly is mint and i do love E34's but honestly you'd have to be high to buy a std as 535ia for 10k
-
He is seriously concerned about 140,000km?

e39 front shock absorbers replacement
Eagle replied to qube's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
I think you will regret putting Munroes in, they're a horrible shock. I dont know who else stock Boge but id give SAS a call (09) 444 1390 as see what some boge shocks would cost you if you want an OEM ride. They gave a real good deal on Boge's for my E38 which ending up being cheaper than getting them overseas and way cheaper than some KYB's i was pricing up locally. -
Ive been using it for years with good results
-
Don't see the point of upgrading if you dont need or want to. The E38\E39 has enough tech for me without getting too complex\more things to go wrong and looks better. Ive plenty of use out of my 7 on long trips and while i dont know about new generations but E38 and previous generations is pretty sure the same as the 5's

I know E32 740i have a 24mm front bar but dont think it would do alot. Will get one overseas if i have to as whiteline dont seem to do fronts anymore.
-
Yes also some E34's with mtech suspension had a 25mm front and i believe E32's could of been optioned with a 26mm front bar
-
Sounds like water on the belt to me assuming it only happens once
-
Lost mine for E34 once. Went to the dealer with chassis number and proof of ownership, got the key mold number then took to a local key cutter who can cut bmw keys. Thats all assuming you got the original locks and ignition in the car
-
Haha no i dont think so but my previous 535i has 530k on it. There are plenty of E34's etc in the states pushing big mileage numbers so its only really high for nz.
-
The bushings are a pita to press out so unless you have new arms it would be more cost effective to buy new arms with the bushing installed.
-
I did find some with the 750i part number(31-12-1-136-607 'Green') but they're german aftermarket ones that look like E34 535i,530 & 540i ones(31-12-1-139-456)

With 330bhp @ the wheels this thing should be able to take on an E39 M5
-
Too bad you are in the sth island as ive got a mint pair of those rear seats sitting in my dump pile
-
I think i have a pair of 750i bushings lying around. Will check tomorrow
